Quality pump.
A littler weak, but overall really nice. Quiet and easy to setup and use. They feel very sturdy and provide a good amount of power for my IM 20 gallon.

Very good first-hour impression compared to Jebao RW-4 wavemaker
Just got this today so here are my first impressions:I'm going from the Jebao RW-4 Wavemaker to this and it's a total upgrade from what I can see. I'm using an IM Nuvo 10 by the way. My wavemaker started diminishing in power over the last few months (I've only had it for half a year) to the point where max speed barely moved the water. This IM wavemaker is so powerful for a little thing! It's so much smaller than the Jebao and packs a wallop. I use the pulse feature which is different on the Jebao. The Jebao's pulse feature stops the impeller and starts to create the pulse. Whereas the IM wavemaker ramps up and down to create the pulse, which I think I prefer so far. They're both quiet powerheads so I'd say it's about even on that. The night feature is interesting. The Jebao I think only activates the feature when you press the button whereas this IM Wavemaker does it automatically, depending on the light. Of course you can turn this feature on/off if your tank is in a low-light location. My first hour impression this puppy is very positive so far. Only minor complaint I had was the sticky velcro sticker that mounts the controller onto your tank. I peeled off the non-sticky bit but it wound up peeling off the entire sticky part too. Which was a pain to get back on since it just wasn't sticking to the velcro bit for some reason. Very minor complaint which might just have to do with the heat in my area making the adhesion loose.

Quality piece of equipment.
Have this powerhead on my planted 36 gallon bow. Going on 3 years, no problems. Really enjoy the variability. Great product!

Makes load noises
Makes a loud ramping noise randomly through out the day. The Jebao I purchased for half the price is wayy better in how much flow it makes and is dead silent. Do not recommend

Powerful little pump
This pump works wonders on my 20 gallon long reef tank. I run it on the lowest settings as speed 2 and above my softies are tossed about. The gentle wave pulse is terrific to watch my corals move naturally.

Great flow for compact wavemaker
This little wavemaker is really small but puts out a ton of flow. It’s silent as could be. I have it in a 40 gallon cube and it puts out plenty of flow at 60% power. The controller is very convenient and I love the feed mode feature. Would definitely recommend for a smaller tank.

Loud and hard to set speeds.
Do not buy this product. Been using it now for almost 3 months. I've been in this hobby for over a decade and never have I seen a pump this loud. I can hear it from my bedroom when trying to sleep. It's also extremely difficult to program the speeds. Garbage.
