My son LOVES ramen so I figured I would have him try out a new brand. Of course, this one is much different from the usual ramen I buy at my local grocery store. The noodles are Udon and they are already cooked (soft). My son tried the chicken-flavored ramen, and he said it was decent. He did eat the entire bowl, so clearly, he didn't hate it but he also hasn't eaten any of the other packages of ramen. This also came with chopsticks and a handful of fortune cookies. The cookies were mostly all broken up but I snagged the chopsticks. I have been using them whenever we order sushi and I love them! They are made of some sort of metal and have a nice weight to them. They even have their own case which is awesome because I always lose my chopsticks in my messy draw.

My daughter loves noodles in general and especially ramen, but we've never made any Udon noodles at home before. I was surprised when she told me she didn't like the noodles, she thought they were too rubbery. I tried them myself and thought they were just fine. We made the shrimp flavor following the directions to use 1-1/4 cup of water. I thought the broth had very little flavor. Next time I'll use less water to see if that helps. While my daughter didn't like the noodles, she was thrilled t get the 'fancy' chopsticks that come with it!
