Vivids ChromaSILK Hair Color, 3oz (Very Light Blonde 9N)

I'm a hairstylist and have been using pravanna Vivids for years on myself and clients. I decided last minute to try and transition to 🩶 grey so her I am!! Highly recommended! ***NOTE***I've seen videos where people are adding developer*NO* it's a direct dye PLEASE FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!! otherwise your wasting money and damaging your hair! Also people are complaining, because it doesn't turn out they way they expected. Your hair needs to be lightened if dark. The color will be different depending on your hair color. If your a super light blonde your good to go! If your dark like me a level 3 you have to lighten to at least a level 10 blonde. Hope this helps.

I’ve been doing my own hair color for almost 8 years now since my favorite stylist moved away and attempts to find a new one failed. During that time I’ve tried multiple brands for my purples and blues. Those other brands had good ratings but never had the staying power of Pravana’s Vivids line. I’m a fan of hot showers and have to wash my hair daily. It’s still weeks before I have to reapply.One thing I do that I think is helping it hold so strong is I leave it on for a few hours and let it dry before rinsing out. Then I don’t shampoo until the next day. But I followed the same process with other products and it didn’t work out as well.

I *love* the VIVID blue. Love it. It fades exceptionally well - I swear I get more compliments on the color when it starts growing out and takes on various shades as it fades. The color does last longer if you wash your hair with cold water and do not frequently use shampoo. If you need to refresh the blue by bleaching your roots, it blends in seamlessly with the older blue color.The big warning is that THIS BLEEDS. For about a month after I first put it on, my fingernails and my pillow case are blue. It washes out of the shower nicely, though, just use a tile cleaner with bleach. And maybe paint your fingernails.

I love this product for "purpling" my dark brown hair. I've used it several years ago on myself, staining me and towels and the bathroom in the process, and it was time to redo the color as it was wearing out and needed refreshed. So I had a professional help me to lighten the color a bit with balayage to get some of my dark brown/black color out. Then we used this product (I bought two tubes because I have a lot of thick hair), leaving it on about 30 minutes and rinsing. It's still looking great a week later, and this is the only product I've found that makes this great purple color that stays in a great while. I've come back to Pravana to stay.

After bleaching my son's hair we used this to dye it bright magenta. We've had other great success with ChromaSilk color before and we're disappointed. Hair turned out a brilliant magenta pink. With all vivid hair dye, particularly pinks and reds, you do have to be careful about washing to maintain the color. The tube is large enough that it's enough to do it 3-4 time to touch up the pink as it fades out. Nice product. Will be buying again!

I have used so many different semi permanent blue hair dyes and this is the worst by far. Not only is my bathtub completely covered (which I expected) every inch of my skin is also blue. I look like a Smurf 🫣The worst part is I can’t get it off my skin. I’ve tried alcohol, oil, nothing works well. It’s just gonna have to wear off by itself over time, I have plans tonight I had to cancel because I’m so embarrassed.Will not purchase again!

The only hair color I use. Fabulous for dying over pre-bleached hair.
