Evolution Aqua Pond Bomb & Sludge Bomb Duo Pack

Made a huge difference, taking my water from a toxic green back to almost totally clear in about 24 hours. Was a bit worried it wasn't the right product for whatever was causing the green but figured for the money it was worth trying. Very happy!

Easy to use seems to be starting to work

Alittle expensive but seems to do the job. easy to use, top up pool/pond to normal max, remove podr, remove lid, empty pods as near to pool center as poss, both at the same time. Perfectly safe for fish though hand washing after use cant hurt. no extra maintenance needed, run pump and/or filter as normal, if using a pond weed killer, use it 14 days before using these bombs as they may not work so close to weed killer.

Have used this stuff before ,so would highly recommend as away of "cleaning up" your pond safely as it has no impact on any fish.Will be buying again.shortly.

Done nothing for our small fish pond, used both of them 1 week apart & still no change in the water.

Seemed to be working great for a few days, then no further progress.

Our pond water has been clear for many years, but after a spell of hot weather, it became obvious that a build up of sludge was generating a build up of gases, evidenced by eruptions of bubbles. The pond water became murky and there was a build-up of debris floating on the surface from the emissions of decomposing vegetation. This happened over a few short days and culminated in a foul smell. Despite a pump, filter, waterfall and various air stones, the situation was getting worse.Having reviewed the options, I decided to use this combined duo pack product. The reviews suggested patience would be required, but my expectations were exceeded. Having dropped both balls into the pond on a Thursday, the water became noticeably clearer on Sunday. The smell was also diminishing and, by Tuesday, the pond had reverted to its normal clear state and the smell had gone.Very pleased with the result! The pond has evolved over many years to be self sustaining and the fish were ignoring any added food as they had enough natural sources. With that in mind, the sludge has become a major feeder for the bottom feeding tench, so was reluctant to clear out the sludge build up and disrupt the equilibrium in the pond. Therefore, this apparently natural solution seems to have worked perfectly and the fish seem to have suffered no ill effects through the situation.I am not sure how often the balls need to be added going forward and will play it by ear. Will probably buy a back up in a few weeks. In summary, I am very pleased with the results of the treatment and now know exactly what to do if it happens again.
