GroteGrote 44890 3 Pin Flasher (Variable-Load Electronic LED (Pilot))

Appears to be excellent Grote quality. Only reason for 4stars is not its fault. It requires a 1amp load to function. That is more than 2led light bulbs take, so I still have to run a regular bulb in the front so my led rear bulbs will work.

Came fast, it worked

I wanted to reduce the current going through my golf cart 48 volt to 12 volt converter since the headlights dimmed every time I stepped on the brakes. I bought LED tail/brake lights which worked great. No more headlight dimming. However, the old turn signal flasher did not recognize the low current going through the LED lights. This electronic flasher solved the problem. It does require a separate return (ground) wire, but finding a suitable connection was no problem.

This flasher provides a consistent flash rate regardless of draw, but if you do a full LED conversion, you will still need resisters, since you need a minimum draw of 1 amp.

Works

works great on my older toy peterbilt semi that I recently converted to LED lighting. Old flasher would not work without the additional load of the old lights. I kept the old flasher in case i have a trailer that needs a higher amperage.

Ordered the wrong one - so thats what I am not in love with it - was my fault

Fixed the problem when switching all my turn signals over to led lights and they wouldn't flash. Worked great and easy to install
