Be wary of negative reviews.
Update: In my original review (which I’ll leave below) I essentially detailed how there are consistent issues that seem to be present with this device, and talked about the experience I’ve had using this in the short-term for some relatively warm spring days. Although I do still think there could be some quality issues with this product, I have to say the customer service that comes with this unit is pretty top notch. If you do get unlucky enough to get an AC with some kind of an issue they’ll troubleshoot the device with you, and work through a return system if necessary to be able to rectify any issues you have. That on top of the positive reviews this listing has shows me that purchasing this AC isn’t going to feel like a waste regardless of the outcome. Worse case scenario you return it and get one without issues.I read a lot of reviews for a lot of portable AC units, and this one to me had one of the better balances between positive and negative with some negative reviews that seemed to be overall fair. Perhaps someone got a faulty AC unit or something, but generally it seemed the experience was good. Maybe I'm one of those people who also got a faulty device, but from what I read even in the positive reviews this may be a consistent issue with this unit.So first, the positives: the product does actually work well... when it works. I've only had this thing for 2 days, and typically you wanna run the device for awhile before making any judgments because it needs time to settle and all that. When the AC is working it gets very cold. I'm not using the dehumidifying option and it seems (by the nature of how AC units work) to be dehumidifying a bit anyways, and it's a smaller device so it fits in small spaces like my tiny bedroom. The remote is nice and it DOES COME WITH BATTERIES (I think I read a review somewhere that said it didn't lol) and the window kit also seems easy enough to install if your window fits the parameters. My window was smaller than their smallest possible size so I bought a separate one, and for anyone who asks the hose should fit most universal kits that account for 5.9 inch exhaust hoses. Now the bad: this thing just does not want the cooling function to stay on. I have no idea why this is. The first day I thought maybe it was the thermostat within the device checking the temperature wrong, or maybe checking only within the immediate area of where it's located, or maybe it was checking the outside temperature, and it was shutting off the cooling function for that reason. Today it got up to 85 degrees, and it got nowhere near cold enough for it to sense that it had "done it's job" and needed to stop cooling, but it stopped anyways. The "easy" fix for this is just power cycling the device... turning it off and on again. But this is something you're going to have to do every hour or two. if you're for example sleeping you're going to wake up intermittently to a hellscape of fire and have to turn it off and on again and then go back to sleep while it slowly begins to cool down. Repeatedly. The thing also seems to be collecting a decent amount of water despite me not using the dehumidifier. Moving the device around I can hear the water inside chugging along. It also feels like it might be spraying out at me a bit, especially because I can sort of smell that ... watery mildew smell AC units can get, but that seems a bit excessive for 2 days of use. I'm sure emptying this thing is probably pretty easy, but from everything I read it didn't seem like having to change it that often while not using the dehumidifying feature was a common experience. The packaging for this device also leaves a lot to be desired. To even get this thing out of the box I had to essentially tear the whole thing apart. Thinking about putting the original packaging back together, shipping this back to get another one (especially since I've read that some people have done that and received an essentially REFURBISHED device with the same issues that someone else sent back) is not something I really want to do. Which means I'm basically just out the money.TLDR; if you're looking for a portable AC... look elsewhere. If you manage to get one that doesn't have these issues then you're in luck. You'll probably love it. But the hassle that would come with not getting lucky when buying this device probably isn't going to be worth it for the majority of people. There seems to be a lack of quality control and consistency with this product that is going to require a lot more fuss than you'll probably have to deal with going with another brand name.

Works great
It works fast. It's quiet. It wasn't hard to put together. Easy to move. It's cooled off the room very quickly. Remote control didn't work though.

Works Well, but Loud
This product is easy to install and does a good job cooling my upstairs bedroom. However, it can be pretty loud at times when it runs through the night. Especially if it’s right next to your bed when you’re sleeping.

This is the winner
I bought a very similar, almost identical looking unit, with the same ratings for performance, however, less than half of the efficiency rating. I did not notice this until later on. I had to return this other purchase due to poor performance all around. I almost did not buy another portable unit thinking they were all the same more less. I assure you they are very different even though they look pretty much identical. I did a little more research and checked the reviews and saw that Zafro , had some very good reviews all consistently stating this unit worked very well. The Btu's and coverage look all the same after a while, and they all say the will cool your room down quickly, this unit does exactly that while being the most efficient one I could find. I should also mention it is much quiter. It cools my room which is 15 by 20 feet in less than 15 minutes and being upward of 85 90 degrees. You can feel the air from the unit over 15 feet away blowing ice cold air on you, and I am going to tell you that's on low fan speed! It also turns off when temperature is reached and after it cycles, it does not stay continuously running like many others and my previous one that I returned. That is a very nice feature for many obvious reasons. All I can say is don't waste your time with others, this one is a quality machine, I hope it last a long time, on that issue I do not have personal feedback as of yet.

Impressive Portable Air Conditioner - Compact and Efficient!
I recently purchased the BTU Portable Air Conditioner, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. This little unit is good at cooling the room fairly quickly.First off, the speed at which it kicks on is impressive. One of the standout features for me is how quiet it operates. It takes up minimal space, making it ideal for smaller rooms or apartments where every square inch counts. I can easily move it from room to room without any hassle. Very easy to set up.Overall, I highly recommend and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase.

Ice ice baby!!
We live in an old house with a crap AC system that our landlord refuses to fix. I work from home and have been dying daily. This arrived yesterday and it is a game changer! It cooled my bedroom almost instantly. It’s quiet (on low) and very sleek. We are ordering 2 more. Oh yea, I forgot to close one of the windows in my bedroom and it was still ice cold!!
