Product Description ------------------- Colgate Peroxyl is an oral antiseptic mouth wash with a unique oxygenating cleansing action. The rapid release of oxygen has an antibacterial effect on anaerobic bacteria. It helps remove debris from hard to reach areas of the mouth. Facilitates healing and alleviates discomfort caused by minor mouth and gum s, such as gum inflammation, soreness and mouth ulcers. You should speak to your dentist or doctor if you have a mouth that persists beyond 7 days of or is severe, if you have due to the wearing of braces and/or dentures, if you develop swelling in the mouth or develop a fever. Special warnings: do not use in children under the age of 6 years. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Propylene glycol may cause skin . Pregnancy/-feeding: consult your doctor or dentist before use. Peroxyl contains levo-menthol, which if accidentally ingested in excessive as may cause fits (particularly in children or infants). If you, or anybody else using peroxyl experience fits, seek medical help, always take this container with you. Possible side effects: like all medicines, peroxyl can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, these may include: minor and swelling of the mouth, injury to the gums, black stain on the tongue and a feeling that your tongue is hairy. You are more likely to experience these side effects if you use peroxyl for a long time or at high doses. These side effects should disappear when you stop using peroxyl.
