I’m not a girly girl so this is my life saver

My granddaughter's hair came out gorgeous and was still beautiful the next day. I was very impressed by it's performance.

It worked great for the short time that it worked. I did not put it through very much. I did not use it every day and it stopped working in four months.

I have thin, wavy hair. It made my curls prefect. The curls bounce too. I like to comb my hand through my curls to give it a wavy look instead of tight curls. It looks amazing and it doesn't take long once you figure out how to use it. It took me two tries and I got it. One thing I dislike about it is the arrow button. One of them sinked in to much that I have to push the button 3 times to get it to start curling.

I should have returned this item. It does not work correctly.

I had previously owned and used the name-brand version of this heat tool. It worked fine, was a little heavy, but at over $100 got returned as impractical. Now with over-long pandemic hair, I have to get more creative with what to do with my mane. I purchased this device as the same idea as chi's but half the price. My results were the exact same! This brand is lighter, which is a benefit until it possibly breaks faster, and doesn't remember my settings (regardless of the instructions, mine has 1 default for time and heat and both settings have to be changed each use). Otherwise, no difference in performance. My hair doesn't seem harmed by the heat or tool itself and my curls stayed in just as long (about 3 days with loose but defined curls by day 3).

Loved that this worked easily. My only frustration was when user error and I didn't get the hair pulled in and had to wait for the timer to reset, or I selected the wrong arrow for the curl. After a little practice, gets it right every time. Never pulls hair and has not malfunctioned. Very much a new process in my get ready to meet the world routine.
