Great coverage on wrought iron patio furniture
I acquired a second-hand set of wrought iron patio furniture that had some rust on it. Not the kind that was actively peeling, just old rust. (If it had been actively peeling, I would have had to sand it.) I just painted the whole set and while I'm not a pro and there are some drip marks, I really liked how the paint adhered to the wrought iron and has a nice, shiny new appearance. It's been sitting outside, exposed to sun and rain for over a month, until recently, and looks as good as new. In some parts one coat was sufficient but I also had to do a lot of touch-up/2nd coat, probably more due to my technique than anything. This paint certainly isn't cheap, but I think it was worth it, and one small container (750 ml) was enough to do 2 coats on a full size sofa and two rocker chairs, and with the leftover I also painted a metal garden gate, a metal planter, a small table with metal legs and some small tabletop metal ornaments (one coat on all those). It's amazing how everything I painted looks like new again with just a coat of paint. I actually still have a tiny amount left but ran out of metal things to paint!
