I purchased these to fit to the top of our Pergola, fed up with having to clean the seating whenever we wanted to use it, not any more, these spikes do the job perfectly, they are sturdy and longer than most others on the market, a little more expensive than the previous spikes I purchased but they broke. I screwed mine in place which took a long time and the spikes are very sharp so be careful.

Well made and will keep birds away but wont keep squirells offmy pergola and bird feeders.

Purchased due to pigeons and doves perching on trellis and dropping on our furniture. Easy to install with instant results, not a perching pigeon or dove since installing, which means clean hygienic garden furniture. Highly recommend

It’s very effective, it’s been a week now since I installed them and I haven’t seen any pigeons that was coming to our balcony everyday!It’s very sharp spike so you need to be careful when you install.

Good length of spike for top of fence, to expensive for greater coverage. Our pigeons danced all over them

Expensive as hell, especially if you have a lot of fence panels. Very well made, nice and sharp. Cats cannot deal with them, too long and sharp. Make sure it covers the whole top of the fence so there is no room for the Cat to manoeuvre round the line of spikes and you should be fine. I’ve not seen a Squirrel try yet, I imagine it’s too much for those too, which is a shame as I love squirrels but I’m cleaning 2-3 different sh1ts up every day from my garden from the local Cats and I can’t take it anymore, I have to try something. Up yours Cats and I’m very sorry Squirrels.

Reasonable price easy to install

We have our satellite dish (yes, we still use it for FreeSat!) on the wall above our kitchen door. Pigeons using it as a perch and sh*tting onto the area below had never previously been a problem in the more than 10 years we've lived in our house, but this year, a family of "town" pigeons have decided to use it as a perch. Cue lots of pigeon droppings right outside the back door. I decided to get these spikes as they can be "moulded" around curves, and the three joined strips can be separated into single strips, which is what I needed. They have holes in case you want to fix them to a flat surface like a fence using screws, but that wasn't going to work for me, so I used cable ties and wire to tie them to the top of the dish using the little holes in the dish itself as the anchor points. The spikes have been completely effective at preventing the pigeons from perching on the dish, and a poo-free floor has been restored. They're quite pricey at £9.99 for 1.2m, so if you wanted to cover a long run, it would be expensive, but for the short lengths I needed to cover the potential perching points on the satellite dish, 1.2m was ample with a few strips to spare.

This was such a great purchase! I have an issue with pigeons sitting on the beams of my pergola and making a mess. All over my patio furniture and outdoor grilling area. Disgusting!I also had several cats making their way through my outdoor kitchen and grilling area, which antagonized my dogs. No more issues!They are the perfect solution to keep the birds and cats off the beams. Everything has been so clean and wonderful. They are humane, so don’t worry. The strong materials are not harmful to the animals. I love the long spikes! It has really made difference. I have not had to power wash my pergolas in weeks. If you have those kind of issues, you need to buy this product.

Sitter på taknocken och fåglarna kan inte längre skita ner. Känns som hållbar plast. Hoppas att den är UV-tålig...? Den är gjord i sektioner så att det är enkelt att göra den till mindre bitar så att den passar. Kan varmt rekomendera den.
