Time saver
I just bought a patch panel and was going to crimp every patch cable. For me the price was well worth the saved time! I was done in minutes instead of 2+ hours (I'm not fast at crimping RJ45).My fear with the 12" version is they would be too stiff to rotate due to the short length. My 48 port switch has one row of jacks upright and the other row upside down. But I was able to plug them into either row without feeling like I was compromising the cable.I haven't bothered to do any appropriate speed tests because CAT8 far exceeds the speed of my 2.5 GbE network. They are at least as fast as my 250 Mbit ISP. The build quality seems great and they even look good.

Very nice looking cords.
I know nothing about cat 8 cables. However my son said these work great. Very easy to use. The cord has some flexibility but is not floppy. They make our setup look very nice instead of that long bright yellow cord that Sprectrum provided. Less cord mess on my desk where the modem and router set.

Love these slim cables
These are great little patch cables. And they don’t take up much space and keep the rack nice and tidy and less cluttered.

Great for patch panels in 19" racks.
Worked just fine.

Pleased with my purchase
So far these patch cables seem great. Purchased these to replace some older self assembled patch cables. They look and feel high quality and all have tested functional. Also nice to have a consistent length rather than my poor job "eyeballing" lengths of my own.One improvement that could be made is to ensure the RJ45 connectors are aligned on each end. Some were 180 degrees opposed which is perfect while others were 45-90 degrees off requiring me to twist the cable a bit to line up with the patch panel ports. Not a huge deal but worth noting, especially for shorter length cables.

Picked these up for my patch panel
I will be adding more of these soon when I restack this panel. Improvement in progress. I wanted to add detail on these wires -- they are CAT8 F/FTP PIMF 25/40GBase-T 2000Mhz slim patch cables...F/FTP: FOILED WITH FOILED TWISTED PAIRSThis type of cable features an overall foil shield with individually foil tape shielded twisted pairs. These are similar to F/UTP cables, with the addition of a foil shield around each twisted pair. The cable construction is designed to provide the assembly with greater protection from crosstalk from adjacent pairs and other cables, RFI and EMI.PiMF is an abbreviation of the English 'Pair In Metal Foil'This CAT8 cable will reach 40G on these short runs and certainly can be used in that manner. No you won't be doing this at home in 2025. But they are inexpensive, they look great, they are very flexible, and they will have fewer errors than CAT6A because of their shielding overkill. In comparison, the 22 AWG CAT8 cable runs that I just ran in my house are huge, horrible to route, and are best terminated with a CAT8 field RJ45 connector into a 22AWG keystone jack, then patched with these. 5/5
