I'm a medical esthetician & as soon as micro-needling became a popular procedure w/ studied proven benefits, I started offering it to clients. I use a electric pen device in my facials, similar to the way a tattoo pen works, but of course most people do not have the ability to purchases a professional tool, at least not a good quality 1. Derma rollers are a cheap at home alternative to an in office micro-needling treatment, but they often arrive w/ bent needles, are not as sharp as they should be, & even if used exactly as the should be the needles are still entering the skin at a slight angle. The purpose of micro-needling if to create controlled, precision injury to the skin, allowing the body to enter a "healing mode" where it produces collagen, elastin, keratin, etc at an accelerated rate for a limited period of time. You want that increased cell productivity to be applied to lines, wrinkles, plumping the skin. If micro-needling is done correctly that happens, but if there is any dragging of the needles or any skin tearing from needles entering at less than perpendicular angle then your body ends up w/ inflammation in the area, it opens your skin up to the possibility of infection & there increased cell production is used to heal damage don't to the skin.These derma stamping devices allow the needles to go into the skin without causing damage. There are a good amt of needles so you don't have to overlap an area to many times. I checked the 2 I purchased & none of the needles were bent of damaged.I wanted to be able to order micro-needling devices that my clients could use at home between professional treatments. I like that the depth the needle goes into the skin can be adjusted, though I would never recommend anyone use more than a 1mm-1.25mm depth at home. There is too much risk of infection & you can do more harm than good. If you have deep acne scars or deep lines & wrinkles than need treatment w/ a longer needle length, leave it to the professionals.However, for use at home, this device can really help w/ product penetration, light line, hyperpigmentation or other dark spots & bringing an overall glow back to the skin. They are cheap enough that they can be purchased often, because you don't want to use the same device more than a few times. It can be hard to properly sanitize micro-needling stamps or rollers & the needles full quickly.Overall, I do think this is a good at home device & much better than a roller.

I really like the adjustable length of the needles. Easy to hold, easy to clean, and easy to use! I can't speak to its effectiveness in hair growth yet (what I bought it for) but it is definitely effective in puncturing my scalp and getting the blood rushing!

The turning mechanism is a little bad but other then that it works well has multiple settings and its easy to use, make sure to clean with alchohol! Good price though for cost will buy again when i need to replace.

This is an item everyone wants but afraid to buy ! But it’s a must for everyone

I was so excited to get this tool, but when I got mine it had no needles, it was just an empty, cheap plastic, piece of trash.

First, I was impressed by how fast I received this item. I got it the day after I ordered it I believe. Second, I was blown away by how sturdy and well designed this was. I was a bit nervous as I've used a regular derma roller before and having an adjustable stamp sounded amazing, but could be flimsy. This one is really good! Easy to change the depth, strong, easy to hold. Happily surprised

I ordered this to try some at home skin care, since getting it done professionally costs so much. It’s made of good quality and is really easy to use. It doesn’t hurt but it definitely seems to be working. I had a few small scars that I’ve been using it on and they are beginning to be less and less noticeable. I would recommend this for someone wanting to start at home. It’s not expensive, easy to use, and clean, and works.

Works fine. Haven’t noticed any results.
