This is a well designed seed started kit. Each tray comes with a clear cover as well as an individual grow light. The cover keeps the soil moist and the humidity up and the grow light lets you give extra energy to the seedlings when they sprout. Easy to use and the kit comes with accessories, including labels which is important since I can never remember what seeds were in which container...

The seed starter tray with grow lights is really nice. I got these to start my herbs indoors before transplanting them into the hot then cold weather we have been having. I ended up planting a little of everything since the cords are attached anyway and I have 4 trays, 2 with herbs and 2 with wild flowers that are meant to go dirrect in the ground. My husband is going to do somethig with the other two trays, I think he is doing peppers but he wanted to see how mine did first. So far we have had success with the containers with the grow lights. My husband had trays last year and they didin't do so well but this tray system with the grow lights has helped us tremendously. I really like this set a lot and recommend highly.

The media could not be loaded.  So, let me start with saying that currently it is Winter in North America and not the time to test out Seed starter. That will have to wait till the spring. That being said, I have grown lot of plants, started them from seed and grown to maturity so evaluating the effectiveness of this based on experience.In a nutshell, yes, this thing will work to germinate the seeds. But do understand, that this is literally for germinating the seeds and getting them to maybe an inch or inch and half in height. The max height of the container restricts the plant to that high. However, that being said, that is what this is this is a "Seed Starter tray", so that is exactly as described.On the face of it, when I saw that it contained 6 pack seed starter tray, I was pretty excited. Each tray has space for planting 12 seeds in one go. So, effectively, you can plant 72 seeds in a go. That is a lot unless you have a huge yard and are doing at scale farming. Each of the seed containers has a hole at bottom for drainage. Each tray, has a drip tray at the bottom so you don't have water all over the place. Finally, there is a humidity dome at the top so the environment remains humid for your seeds. At the top of the dome, there are holes to fit the LED disks. The LED disks themselves seem decently constructed and are sealed so that moisture cannot get in. There is a supplied USB cord, although no wall adapter, that branches out in 6 USB-C cables, each one of them meant for one of the LED disks. The LED disks have White, Red and Blue lights to supply your growing seedings all the light they need.The con, and in my mind, this is a decent bit of con is that the quality of the containers is not very good. The plastic thickness and the quality seems no better than the quality of the takeout plastic containers (black bottom and transparent top) from restaurants. I mean, you are not putting structural load on these containers and with careful handling, these should last many years, but it still feels that the manufacturer cut cost on something that they could have made higher quality.Its OK, it will work, it is a decent value for money. Leaving it at 4/5 for now and will update in Spring on how these actually performed.

I absolutely love these trays! The integrated light makes them so much more portable and less obtrusive than having a separate light, and it makes them more versatile! We have limited space where we can hang lighting, so these have been amazing! The plastic is a little thicker than most of the starter trays we have, so I'm not worried about crushing the tray trying to get the starts out, and it seems to be holding up pretty well. We've had about 6 sets of plants go through these so far with no issues. I also appreciate that it came with the little tools; saves me from getting dirt up under my nails trying to make holes in the soil. I love these trays and recommend them for anyone and everyone who gardens!

These are fantastic little greenhouses for starting seeds. Each one is equipped with a set of LED grow lights that are not blinding and may not qualify as "full range," but are just the right amount of space away from the seeds to give them a little warmth and get them going. Each tray has 12 plugs to be filled with seed-starting medium and is set up for bottom watering by removing the tray and adding water to the bottom (the best way to water seedlings). The lid is proportionately taller than most "professional" seed starting trays--and, best of all, can be aerated by turning the lighting disc to reveal holes on the top. Yes, their small size means you will need to transplant them to another container earlier--but it also means you need less dirt and space to get things going. I tried it out with lettuce and herb seeds--the lettuce sprouted in 3 days and the herbs within 5 days.You can literally have a mini greenhouse on your kitchen table and easily clear it away for dinner or guests. It really doesn't get cheaper or easier to get started than this.

I wanted to start growing some plants a bit early. This is great. I have them set up and they do exactly what is needed. Worth the money. You have everything you need, just get some soil and seeds.

In late November I got a wide assortment of succulent seeds and a variety of very small, struggling, starter cuttings. Not the optimal time of year to try and nurture these into little healthy, thriving, plants. Seed starter trays like this are indispensable for the task this time of year. I like that they not only allow for manual control of light intensity and humidity, but they also allow for a significant level of protection against the push of hot air through our HVAC vents. For me, this set of 6 trays and lights has been the saving grace of my unexpected windfall of diverse succulent cuttings. The variable settings of light and humidity in each of the 6 trays has allowed me to set and tweak the settings as the different varieties have needed.

Really like these. Lights work great. Vents at the top to control humidity slightly. Good construction. Individual cells are on the small side so plants, depending on how long they are in them, will get root bound fairly soon.

Liked the product works well just the trays are smaller than I thought they would be. Overall good quality though.
