The media could not be loaded. Sorry about the poor video it was a bit tricky riveting one handed whilst holding the camera. Anyway, the rivet went in nice and firm and the pop popped off cleanly. It is useful to have a range of thicknesses but also to have a range of depth/length of rivet which allows for thicker materials. The set holds around 340 rivets of 3, 4 and 5mm diameter and of various lengths which makes it a great selection for the workshop.

I really like the sturdy box the rivets come in. It closes securely and each compartment is clearly labelled on the lid. The rivets look well formed. I measured the 3mm ones slightly oversized at 3.1mm so won't cleanly fit in a 3mm hole. The 4mm ones are 3.8mm and the 5mm are 4.75mm so will fit holes drilled to their size perfectly.I decided to test the rivets in a scrap of aluminium. The 3mm didn't fit a 3mm hole but a 3.5mm one was OK. The 4mm and 5mm were a good fit in their holes. The 3mm rivet installed OK. The mandrel broke too soon on the 4mm rivet leaving a sharp point sticking out of the head. Also the other part of the mandrel had jammed in the jaws of my tool. After I extracted that I was extra careful with the 5mm rivet but exactly the same thing happened. A not quite installed rivet with a nasty sharp point sticking out. This would be a real pain to remove if it was on anything that mattered.There is absolutely no chance of me using these rivets on anything. Utterly useless!

This nice plastic box contains a selection of blind, or 'POP' rivets ranging from 3mm to 5mm in diameter and from 8mm to 23mm in length. The selection seems fairly arbitrary, and you won't necessarily find the size you need if you have high standards. The rivets seem well-enough made, and the ones I tried worked to a degree, and the mandrels snapped off cleanly when expected. Although the rivet was secure, few were neat, with the mandrel tending to go off-centre, producing an irregular head on the inside. Some of this might be due to poor technique and sizing, but the overall results were less satisfactory than with the rivets from the kit I was using. The sizes of the rivets in the kit are clearly marked on the transparent lid of the case, but there is no guidance regarding hole sizes and material thickness. There will be some leeway here, but it would be too much to expect a long rivet to run straight in thin material.£14.99 seems a reasonable price for a box of 340 rivets, providing they are the ones you will use. They may not be the very best, but they are usable.

Good selection of standard 3004 grade blind rivets. As per the listing details there are 3 different diameters each with 3 different depths giving a total of nine sizes. There were a few rivets with bent mandrels, but overall quality seems fine.It would have been nice if they had included each rivets drill hole diameter and grip code/range on the back of the case. Some of the long rivets are unlikely to get used unless you are fastening a total material thickness of 17mm.The case is study and has moveable slots so can be refilled or repurposed once empty. Not sure about the mint green colour though!Buying in these mixed sizes is great for convenience but not quite the same value as buying one or two sizes in bulk. Given the total quantity in this kit at their current price point (£14.99 time of review) they are average value.The product itself is still definitely a handy kit to have for DIY or occasional riveting.

This rivet set came well packaged with it's case inside a sturdy cardboard box. It has a good range of sizes, including some with comparatively long barrels - one is 4.0 x 23mm. That's pretty long. Perhaps for clamping two thickish sheets together....Some of the sizes are not exactly 'mainstream', which may be the point - useful in less typical applications where extra barrel length is needed for thicker materials etc.The case supplied with the rivets is excellent. It's really sturdy with good closing clamps and the black separators are movable so you can repopulate the case however you see fit - though the top flap has the sizes printed according to the provided separator configuration. The printing is on a film which could be easily peeled off if wanted, however.The rivets pop cleanly and grip well, subject to the right sizing, of course.In summary, a good set containing some interesting less mainstream sizes.

This is a set of blind rivets but I have always called them Pop rivets. I liked the case lid displayed exactly all the sizes you were going to get in width and length though I still think of 3mm as being 1/8”. I tested a couple with my old riveter and they worked fine. I would have liked a few more of the shorter sizes and a few less of the longer sizes. The case had a think for most likely displaying in a shop which I removed with a sharp knife. So, good wide range well presented in a labelled case that will work well for me that I can recommend.

A straightforward top up for your supply of Blind rivets, there is a good selection and its nice to see some extra long ones for those once in a blue moon type of jobs where you can never find the ones you want.I've been using these for years and this is a good selection supplied in a sturdy case.try using them warmed up you will be amazed how much easier the riveting will be,I see no reason why you should be anything but pleased with your purchase.
