Quality Volvo 240 Rear Brakes! Way better pedal feel and stopping power!!
I used these for the rear brakes on my 240 and they feel absolutely terrific!My brake pedal was feeling a bit low to grab and I noticed my brakes we're making more noise than usual. Sure enough, the rear pads we're almost down to the metal, I definitely needed a new set. These restored my pedal feel and the car feels like it stops even betterThese slid in perfect and came with grease! It'd be awesome if it came with hardware, but I got that from ACDelco instead. All and all very good pads, I would definitely use ceramic pads again once these wear out. Wish I would've used ceramic pads on the front now XDI'll update this with how long they last

Worked fine on my Volvos S70 and 850.
These fit and function fine on my 2000 Volvo S70 (rear). This is the second set of these pads I've purchased. The first set I purchased from Oreillyauto for my Volvo 850 a year ago or so. Note, these pads do not come with shims. You'll need to buy a new set (~$5), salvage the ones from your old pads if possible, or endure ear drum shattering brake squeal during slow speed braking.

Excellent Brake Pads for the money!
Just installed these on my '99 Volvo S70 to match the front Wagner ThermoQuiet pads I have. Really, really easy to install and I like how there are no shim covers that are laying on top of the pads. It's built into the back of the pads, which means so possible shim failure. These have pretty decent stopping power and are dead silent.

not even close
I finally got around to doing the front brake job on my '97 Volvo 850 Wagon and when I got to the part where I install the new pads, I opened the box to find they are the wrong ones, not even close, not in the ballpark, not even in the same zip code. The Amazon parts application guide says they are for the car, but they are not the front pads I thought I ordered, they may be for the rear, but I have rechecked and I don't see how you can tell using Amazon. First and last time I make that mistake.
