Great set and of stones

I use them for fine tuning. Plenty of grits to choose from. Stones are really flat and square too

While not perfect they are definitely serviceable. I am a tinkerer and firearm hobbyist and they absolutely work perfectly for my use. If and when they wear out, I will, if still available, reorder the exact same stones. Hope this helps!

Does what I needed for.

As a gun smith I know quit a bit about filing and sharpening. This set of stones cut better and faster than any other stones I have tried.

They can wear down quickly without oil or water but they work great.

I'm using these for knife making to fix up plunge lines and the like. They wear about as fast as I thought they would, slightly faster than more expensive stones. The grits are pretty accurate. I'd like if I could get these individually cause I'll end up using the 120 more, and be nice if I could get even lower grits.

I was really hoping these would be quality because the size suits my application. The grits are not accurate at all. I can't get a burr to form with the 180 and you can't really feel a difference between the 180 and the 800.
