though it might say it is made of foam, I still never expected it to be so soft, pretty useless in my opinion, unless you want something flimsy and slightly over sized for the purpose

Brilliant. After trying many other foam rollers and returning them, I am glad to have found this little gem.Works perfectly for rolling out rhomboids, right and left from your spine. And it is NOT overpriced like so many other products!

Start at base of spine and work up. Releases fascial constriction. I like it!
