Nice rope for the plow

First of all - let's set expectations. This is a very nice, sturdy hook and rope kit. The rope is 'rated' very well considering the use case is for a ATV 3500-6000LBS winch.The description says it has a breaking strength at almost double that at 11,023 pounds. Assuming that is accurate (and I am not going to try and use this 1/4 inch rope to move that much weight), this is a lightweight solution to virtually anything that the winch could encounter on an ATV.What is nice about this is that unlike wire rope, this stays more flexible and hand friendly in most settings. Wire rope is often stiff and difficult to work with. As long as this rope is not frozen, it is easy to pull from the winch and maneuver into whatever situations it will be used in. There is even a protective sleeve to put on the rope to help protect it from situations that could abrade the rope.I mentioned earlier the hook -- it has a maximum load rating at twice the rope rating (21,605 pounds) and it is coated to protect it from the elements.Overall, this is a very nice solution to fill the winch spool on the ATV. And, I have confidence that virtually any need that arises, it will be able to provide the pull/leverage required. 5 stars!

The BUNKER INDUST 1/4" x 50' Synthetic Winch Rope Kit is fantastic for my Can-Am Defender. It's incredibly durable with the 11023LBS winch line and protective sleeve. The forged winch hook and strap are sturdy and reliable. It's made off-road adventures much easier and safer.

The rope is best used for SxS and ATV/UTV vehicles that don't exceed 4500 pounds. That would keep this rope inside its rated working load limit (WLL) for a measured 1/4" rope. There is a small thimble that appears to be stainless. The rope does not have an attachment point on the drum end nor does it have a shield for the first course of rope to protect from heat .There is a rope guard that slides for use over a rock or tree to avoid abrasion of the fibers. The hook provided has no stamped rating for WLL or minimum breaking strength (MBS). With a generous MBS to WLL ratio of 2:1, the max pull would be at 5500 pounds. Make sure you're rigging everything with the weakest link in mind. That said, this is a decent package for lighter vehicles.

I've never liked the steel tow line on the Warn winch on my ATV.If you've ever gotten a steel cable sliver, you know what I mean.I'm replacing the broken steel line with this synthetic and look forward to never having to deal with steel cable again.The hook this came with is an absolute beast! They say it's unbreakable and it feels like it.I'm sure I'll never try pulling 11,000 lbs with a 650cc ATV, but it's good to know I'm well under the rated duty cycle for this rope and hook.

I admit freely that I don't have a winch, but I DO have tow hooks on my truck and needed a little assistance removing a palm tree stump. Hooking this up to the Tundra and looping it around the stump was a perfect use for me. The stump is gone, and I have a nice line to use for whatever I need. It may see use as a new bowline for my boat now. It's solidly constructed and worked great for my purposes.
