Not heavy metal, with 3 different high levels you can do. Handy if you want to do Greek stybe bbq.

This is basically a round baking dish with a welded thread in the middle to which you can screw one of the 3 provided skewers into.The quality of the metal seems Ok but the skewers do wobble a bit when screwed in, although this does not effect the cooking. This is good for doing a chicken shawarma or other kebabs but I do not see the point of it for doing steaks or sausages. There are plenty of vertical skewer recipes online that you can experiment with and have fun.All in all I Like this as it has expanded my cooking.

This gave me the juiciest but crispy chicken last night. I think it’s because the juice files down the vertical skewer. This is going to replace my takeaways for sure, love it for making kebabs too, marinate your meat and layer on the slices, cooks fast!

Pretty cheap rubbish to be honest. Bought this and did a chicken Shawarma.Smoked it on my smoker at a low heat and only for a few hours so that can’t be to blame, took it off once cooked and the spike just collapsed.It’s just a small welding joint onto the pan and is poor quality. I didn’t even put anything heavy on it like a full chicken as seen in the pictures, no way it would stand up to that!

Having bought the spices for doner kebab from Amazon and being able to blend it at home the only problem I had was trying to cook in a similar way.Being able to layer the meat (or chicken for a change) along the skewer it is going to be cooked from the inside as well (metal will transfer the heat to the centre)Already looking forward to our fake-away take-away at the weekend when we try it out.Yum
