Nice material, not too thick so it can be worn without getting hot or uncomfortable.

I usually buy XXL caps and am glad to see a bunch of XXL knit hats. This one fits great. The material is really standout. I have it in black and it is awesome material. I recommend it highly.NOTE: they seem to have merged another hat with the wool hat that I have. The one I reviewed has a fisherman knit with no labels on it.

I'm not sure why the listing mentions "XXL Oversized"? It's a usual one-hat-fits-all size hat, that definitely fits well on a Medium-sized head. Not too big, not too small. Very nice merino wool material. Comfy. Nice pattern. Five stars!

So first thing to note is that the stitching pattern appears to vary by color. So, to be clear, I got the C1-Dark Grey. The material itself is super soft and feels really nice against the skin.The fabric is on the thinner side and, as such, doesn't hold shape or stick upright the way a heavier weave or fleece style fabric would fit. The cuff also tends to fall as you're putting it so you will need to adjust the cuff once it's on your head.I would say this is a cool weather beanie rather than a super cold weather one. It's not like a thermal fleece style winter beanie that will really keep you warm in very cold temps, falling snow etc.The color, fabric, and construction are all very nice and the price point is good. I can recommend this winter hat as long you understand it's for chilly temps not deep winter wear.

I should have paid more attention to the listing because this hay truly is XXL. I don't know how I missed it but it is definitely meant for very large heads. It's just way too big for me. It is great quality though and feels like it would be very warm. An inner lining would have made it even better. It is nice looking if you like the really baggy hat style.

So my wife and I both really like this hat, so we were kind of fighting over it. It works well for men/women, it's super soft, has the right amount of stretch to it, looks nice and is comfortable without being too hot.It says it's oversized, but I think that means it's a little longer and does not squash down your hair.It's a very nice looking hat, and merino wool is so very comfortable and does not hold moisture against your skin, so I could see wearing this out all day and staying warm and dry. I got me a similar black one so we would not fight over this one. Highly recommended.

This beanie is much more lightweight than it looks, the wool yarn is very fine. I know some people are afraid that wool will be itchy but this isn't like that at all, it's very soft and comfy. I didn't even realize that it's described as "oversized" until now, probably why I like it because I don't like hats being too snug on my head. The cable knit pattern looks nice, classic; I chose the coffee color, will go well with my long wool coat (charcoal brown). It's a very neutral color, the yarn has specks of cream in it (is marbled the right term?). The cuff is deep. Very nice, well made, and very practical. When the cold weather is over, you'll want to store this with a cedar block to keep bugs away since it is 100% wool.

First, if you have never worn merino wool, you're missing out. It's incredibly soft, it feels wonderful against your skin, and it isn't scratchy. Next, this fits well as it is one size fits most. It will stretch a bit to fit your head size (I'm about 7-1/2"), and it is comfortable for those transition months. I don't know how well it works in really cold months, but in autumn and spring, it's perfect for a little extra warmth, and it looks great.

1cm head. The beanie is fine, but a bit too deep.Soft, warm to -10C, but in a windy day to 0C. Thickness is right in the middle between "way to much" and nothing. That is wat I expected from description.And delivery was fast! Two days.
