Suggested Modifications
Very little instructions so you will have to figure it out yourself with the pictures provided.I suggest making modifications on the feeding bowls assembly. Put the metal piece in the second from the left hole so that it uses gravity to automatically lock the mechanism in place. This also makes it so you have to lift the door a bit for it to open so it acts as a second fail safe.Several pieces were bent and damaged, but still usable. I'll live with it, but if you are unable to, be prepared for bent pieces.Overall very sturdy.

Space saver
Instruction weren’t the best but we love these cages. We got two but we need like 3-4 more but they are unfortunately currently unavailable.

space saver
This cage saves so much space. It had a few bent bars and a bend in one of the trays, but nothing that could not be straitened. The directions could be better. After setting up my cage I liked it so well I ordered a second one. It is a nice size cage well built and the cost for what you get is worth it.

The assembly instructions are worse than useless. The bar spacing is larger than 1/2"
I bought these cages for finches because the bar spacing is said to be a tight 1/2". Nope. It is about 1/8th inch larger. It doesn't really matter that it isn't listed for finches because if the bar spacing was 1/2" it would have worked for them. After a day my husband and I are still trying to figure out how to assemble it. The directions are worse than useless. There are four types of screws, nuts, washers, etc. The assembly picture shows one screw, nothing else. Doesn't tell which screws go where and it isn't easy to figure them out. Don't get me started on dented cage pans and cage cups. This is not the cage I thought I was getting and I don't know that I can safely use it for gouldian finches. If we ever get it assembled I can probably use it for some of my other birds leaving me with no finch cages.

Looks nice, that's its.
This came in with absolutely no packing protection from shipping abuse, so several parts were very bent and one peice of metal even broken. One of the cages isn't even usable because of of damage.. When put together properly, the cage doors won't open because of the design of the swinging food doors, not the damage from shipping. It looks nice, but that's about it only good quality.

Love this cage I just wish they gave better instructions with it!
I bought this bird cage to save space. I have never had to put together a complicated birdcage my old cages were easy. So this one was definitely a challenge for me. It had one sheet of instructions well I wouldn’t really say instructions but it really only told you what you get hardware wise. It did have a diagram of how to put the front the sides and the back on and that was basically it. I had no instructions on how to put the swinging door for the bowls on. It literally took me all day and then I had to have my husband help me that night. My cage did come in good condition nothing was bent. There were a few little spots on the bars that felt sharp but when I took a rag and wiped the cages down they came right off. Overall I would say I love this cage my birds seem to really like it it saves a lot of space if you have multiple birds. It is very sturdy as well.

Great cages
Great cages. Works well in my space. I have two & plan to buy one more soon. Only complaint is that the way the feeder doors have to be put together I can see the arm that keeps it shut will eventually give me problems it already comes loose often. Also no good instructions to put together. My brother and son and very handy and this tested their patience.Like I said we plan on buying one more so over all a great cage.

Great Cage for the Money!
I’ve had 2 of these cages for a while now, and it’s time I write a review. I personally LOVE these cages! For the amount you pay, you get a LOT of bang for your buck! The dimensions are great for the size of birds that I have ... quakers, conures, cockatiels ... I also have a parakeet in one by herself and a parrotlet in another by himself. These cages are probably overkill for small birds like them, but I’m glad I can provide them more-than-adequate space. The rotating feed doors make it easy to feed birds quickly without them escaping. The trays and grates are easy to clean. An extra large Amazon basics puppy pad *almost* fits perfectly. I have to add 4 sheets of select-a-size paper towels on one side to make up for the width, but that’s not a big deal.I added under-cabinet lighting to 5 of the 6 cages that I also purchased from amazon because I thought the cages were too dark inside. The top left cage has a 30” aquarium light on top. I ran the wires carefully so that the birds cannot chew them. I wrapped 1/2” PVC pipe with black electrical tape so it would better match the cages, fastened the pipe to the cages with black zip ties, and ran the wiring through the pipe to protect it.There is a gap between the tray and the side of the cage that is nearly impossible to clean. I added a picture of my finger pointing to this gap. Food and feathers get in there. I can use my vacuum attachment to get some of it, but I’m going to have to engineer a narrower attachment for my vacuum to get the remaining crud out. Again, not a deal breaker ... just a slight irritation. When the first cage arrived, some of the bars were bent, but it was no big deal to bend them back into shape. They still aren’t perfect, but it isn’t bad enough that my birds could escape or become trapped between the bars. It’s more of an aesthetic issue, but I’m not upset about it. It’s a $400 cage as opposed to a $700 equivalent-sized competitor’s cage. I still liked it enough to buy a second cage. The second cage arrived with a few bent bars, and some of the 5” stainless steel bowls were bent pretty badly. This is the only reason I deducted one star. Bowls are expensive to replace, and it’s difficult to find 5” bowls. Still, I am very satisfied with my purchase. If ever I am crazy enough to need another set of three cages, I would buy this cage again without hesitation!
