It dose every thing it says and more. The scan tool helps identify where the problem may be, the live data or scope feature allows you to diagnose issues in derivability. Then for fun you can switch to the Dino and check for horse power and torque.

Does the job.
I have a turbo charged miata that throws codes on a daily basis but I am fine with it. I just need to check them once in a while and every two years, clear the CEL... This product does that well. I tried the 0-60 but didn't work.

Bad customer service, some difficulty with software
I did finally get it to connect to my Lexus but it took a while. It also doesn't always link up right away even after getting it set up initially. On other vehicles, it connected fine. When it works, it works well. I like some of the features it offers. The reason for the low star rating is mostly due to customer service. They are very slow to respond and when they do, they aren't very helpful. After first purchasing the software, loading the usb driver wasn't happening... They didn't have much help to offer except to keep retrying. It did eventually work. But then it wouldn't link up to my Lexus (Toyota) which I noticed that another user here mentioned. Once again, they weren't much help. The most difficult part was that it was hard to get in touch with them over the phone so I had to email. With about a week to answer an email, it made working on the car difficult. At one point, I misplaced the cover to the CD which has the code for the software installation. I offered to pay to ship a replacement CD and even offered to pay for another CD. Their only solution was to just purchase an entire kit. I eventually located the CD cover.

Works Great
Works Great and has saved me and other people a lot of money by not paying for error code scans.

Outdated product with non-intuitive interface -- look elsewhere
I purchased this product back in 2009 and have used it occasionally to diagnose engine problems. Although I like its graphing capability, it is not easy to set it up and use. More importantly, there are now many other products available for far less that work wirelessly with smart phones, iPads, and laptop computers. This product is so outdated it still uses 'COM' ports, a relic of PC's from the 80's. It does include a COM to USB adapter, but that requires installation of an included software driver. It takes a while to 'find' your device, and may require a few tries before you can get it to work.Back in 2009 I made the mistake of buying Auterra's 'Ford Enhanced' add-on module for $49.95. When I received it I noticed no additional diagnostic capability for my 2002 Ford Escape.Bottom line -- look for a modern, less expensive alternative. Do a search here on Amazon for 'OBD II WiFi' and you'll find what you want.

Works well, but not on all vehicles!
This scan tool, when it works, works very well! On some vehicles though, it does not even link to the ECU. On another vehicle of mine, it could not do live data.
