I bought this NEEWER metal phone mount to use with my heavy-duty overhead camera desk stand, and it was a perfect fit. It attached easily and holds my phone securely, giving me confidence when filming from above. The metal construction feels sturdy, durable and much more dependable than a lightweight plastic mount. It is easy to adjust, stays firmly in position and makes setting up my phone for overhead videos quick and convenient. This has been an excellent addition to my content-creation setup and works exactly as I hoped. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secure, well-made phone holder for an overhead stand, tripod or filming rig.

UPDATE! The internal screw came loose and there ir not way to fix it again... so i have a clamp with no options of atach to a cage, or a hot shoe. It's a great stand, but the screw thread has become unstable. Even though the phone is securely held in the clamp, the base wobbles and moves, which makes it difficult to record videos while the phone is in the stand. This part could be improved, or perhaps a double screw thread could be added for better stability.

Pro, Well made, and fits perfect on my DSL camera Con: Does not open to far: I have a Samsung S24 ultra with a case on it and its a super tight fit like its crushing the phone. I would have expected it to open farther.

I used this for the first time on my gimbal and it worked so well! I wasn't sure about it and thought it might be in the way but it wasn't at all and gave me some awesome BTS content from the day! It also works really well in my camera's hot shoe if it's not already preoccupied with a flash or something!

The detachable NATO clamp rotates 360 degrees, allowing the user to rotate the holder to view the phone no matter where the gimbal is held, be it held up high, or down low. The detachable NATO clamp will even clamp to the NEEWER Adjustable Sling Handle Grip which I purchased for my DJI Ronin RS4 RS3 Mini RS 3.

I got this to use with my DSLR. I use it with my iPhone pro max and it is very stable and easy to use. It’s fairly easy to adjust. The only thing I would like it’s to have the option to make it higher. When I use my telephoto lens's, sometimes I have to angle it in I way I don’t really want. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.

Fantastic, holds my phone well enough to use as a second bigger monitor for my camera. Especially in the sun when the screen can be hard to see! Nice and heavy, feels good and not cheap and nasty at all
