This little light improves both the asthetic look of your truck as well as the brightness compared to the stock light that comes with the truck. My husband was able to install this on his GMC very easily and is impressed with the way it looks, as am I, and I don't even care about such things. Hubby is very happy with this purchase!

Fantastic addition to my work truck. My light went out and I figured I would try this instead of just a bulb replacement. Well worth it. This came with everything you need in the box including the gasket - for a great price too considering everything that is included. Definitely has increased visibility and also a nice cosmetic upgrade too. Already ordered another for my other car.

This lamp assembly was a fantastic replacement for my old, cracked and worn out bed lamp assembly. Be sure to follow the installation instructions to not damage the new lights. Included a new gasket. New screws would be a nice touch, as most of the original ones are rusty and unattractive compared to this new light. There is a large resistor pack that's loose on the harness end of this product. To prevent it from bouncing around in the cab roof, it is a good idea to zip-tie the resistor pack to the wiring harness to keep it restrained. The checkered brake light is a bit interesting, but it is bright enough to be seen day and night. The bed lights are nice and bright, much better visibility in the bed at night compared to the stock lamp assembly. This is a very nice upgrade for our old trucks.

Looks awesome on my truck. It matches my taillights that I got from another vendor just fine. Doesn’t leak like my old one did. I can’t say how bright it is, as my 3rd light doesn’t work on my truck for some reason

EDIT: 12/23/23. After a nice rain storm, the housing has condensation. I will leave it at 4 stars for the time being as the entire unit still functions. I have added a picture referencing the condensation on the inside of the lens. I will update if/when things change.If you are looking for a LED replacement on a budget, with smoked lens, this may work for you. The red LED brake light is not as bright as expected, and the cargo light does not disperse to the bed area as well as the OEM housing and bulbs.-Compared the old OEM housing with incandescent bulbs, this is way brighter.-Compared to the old OEM housing with aftermarket LED bulbs, this is not as bright.Things I noticed with this product are:-The instructions are simple, easy to follow. Most people doing this will know how to remove the brake light housing.-Instructions indicate "small washers for the screws that we provided". Mine had the washers, but no screws.-The provided gasket has adhesive tape on one side and it barely fits the housing. It is a pain to put on with the wiring harness as you have to feed the wires through the center of the gasket and hope the gasket does not stick to the housing.-There is no instruction on which way the gasket is supposed to be on the housing. Looking at the cutouts, it can only fit one way but if you are not paying attention and install it upside down good luck removing it.-The gasket is thicker than OEM, and the light housing does sit off the body a bit more. No leaks appeared during a quick washdown with a hose.-The wiring harness has a resistor block that is not secured to the housing, and no provided mounts for installation. Be careful with this as it does get hot. Depending on your year, the headliner backing is exposed and will burn if this sits on it. Some model years have a metal plate that this can be secured to.

Much brighter, better to be seen by the inattentive drivers behind you. The external resistor is incased in heat shrink (the black lump in the wiring) to keep the computer happy about not having a bulb out. Just stuff it in the hole before sealing up the unit. Gasket was included. Overall, has a quality feel to it, only time will tell if the plastic holds up to UV in FL. Worth the buy.
