Warms up quickly enough and copes well with the projects I've used it for. The large size is a bonus for flexibility, but it take sup a fair bit of space in the home office. Simple to use.

Brilliant laminator-slow but good and takes 2 x A4 side by side

Good but better for a small commercial organisation rather than a Home Office.
First, it's worth saying that this laminator is pretty big. It probably won't fit in a home office and will be more suitable for commercial organisations. Build quality looks very good though, most marked by the incredible weigh of the laminator. It fires up very quickly, the manufacturee claims within 1 minute. Usefully the laminator takes not just A4, but a variety of paper sizes affording many more options in use. Sizes to A2 are possible. Instructions are extremely concise and clear but it would have been nice to have some laminated pouches as well to try the product out with. All you get 4 or 5 cards which can be used to clean the laminator periodically. So for me to report on the actual laminator I guess I'm going to have to buy some sheets or get some from work. Irritatingly though, some on Vine have been offered laminator sheets but without access to a laminator. Not particularly clever thinking.

A very easy-to-use large laminator that can laminate sheets up to A2 in size...
The media could not be loaded. The GBD HeatSeal ProSeries 4000LM Laminator is a large easy-to-use laminator that's ideal from a small to medium-sized office/postroom or for general home use.WHAT YOU GET:The laminator comes in a large, well-packaged cardboard box along with 5x cleaning sheets (for putting through the laminator at the end of each session) and an incredibly brief instruction manual. The laminator measures approximately 67.5cm (W) x 19cm (D) x 11cm (H).SET-UP:Setting up the laminator is incredibly simple. Just plug the laminator into the mains (it comes with a UK 3-Pin plug) and then turn it on (the on/off switch is located at the back of the laminator). A red indicator light will then come on informing you that the laminator is on and warming up, but not quite ready for use. When the green light comes on (after about 60 seconds) the laminator is ready to use.You can adjust the heat of the laminator depending on how thick the laminating sheets and/or paper you're laminating is. The laminator has an easy slide adjuster on it for changing the temperature based on the pouch thickness (75, 125 or 250 mic).IN USE:You'll then need to prepare your document for laminating. Just place the paper you want laminating into the laminating pouch, smooth it down so the two plastic sides sit flush with each other, and then place it in the front of the laminator. Carefully guiding the pouch in, it should pick up and draw it in quite quickly with its feeding rollers. The laminated sheet will then slowly appear out of the reverse side of the laminator.SUMMARY:We've had the laminator for just under a month now and have used it probably around 8 - 10 times on a number of different things (okay, admittedly mostly kids' pictures for the fridge door). From the get go the laminator proved incredibly easy to use. And it doesn't need a long or detailed instruction manual because it's really that simple to use. And the results are spot on every time. It's also incredibly handy to have a laminator that can deal with laminating paper up to A2 in size!

Simple and Effective!
Great product, really easy to use and set up. Managed to laminate a whole bunch of A4 sheets for kids timetables, signs etc. without any angst. I used the Fellows ImageLast A4 pouches (125 microns) which you can find here on Amazon for around £10. Warms up quickly and is a doddle to get the job done. Its a little on the large size for a home office but then its the A2 version which does give a load more flexibility.

Nifty!
Though obviously designed for business use, this is actually rather cool for personal use, too.Posters for events, things you don't want to get dirty or messed up (dungeons and dragons character sheets, anyone?) and basically anything you want to keep clean can be protected really easily.Physically, this thing is large. No two ways about it. But it's an A2 unit, so don't expect it to be svelte and light. That said, it's not overly huge and feels quite compact for what it is, with good weight distribution. At 4 kilos, you'll probably not be lifting this thing around casually, so have some dedicated room in the office for it.Overall, I'm pretty impressed. This thing is quick, feels well made and works fairly snappily.

Great quality professional laminator
I work for a world famous company that has offices all over London and our particular branch doesn't have a laminator this good. I doubt whether I'll ever laminate something A2 sized but I could see myself using A3 for posters and the like. I already have pouches for my A4 laminator and so was able to test up to that size. The quick warm up time was a boon as I'm used to walking away from mine and leaving it to warm up but I couldn't see the point of the variable heat settings at my level of use.It coped readily with my granddaughter's compilation of garden leaves of varying sizes that she wanted laminating for a school project and gave a crisp and secure finish. This is a very well made piece of equipment but as other reviewers have commented it is more suited to the commercial office than the home because of its size. I could also see this being very useful in schools and colleges where larger laminated displays are required.
