The first picture shows one ball I made using a cardboard rectangle thing (the biggest one) and two smaller ones I made using the product. I used the smallest one and the green medium one, they obviously look a lot better than the one I made by hand. The yarn it comes with is perfect for practicing. Please keep in mind that these three are the first pom poms I have ever made. So if you have any practice yours will be much better!! The plastic could be sturdier, I guess, but I didn't find it a problem at all.

These are very flimsy plastic, but they work ok for the job. I agree with another reviewer,watch the video on YouTube! Your can practice with the yarn provided,but for lots of pompoms you need to get larger package. Small yarn but pretty colors.

The instructions on the box are pretty unclear but after watching a few videos on YouTube, these Pom-pom makers are pretty simple to use. Definitely much easier than trying to create them without these. This set also came with several mini bundles of yarn to practice with, which was a bonus.

The plastic pieces are very cheap, yarn easily frays, but it all worked okay when making the poms. I had to YouTube how to use it since it came with no instructions, I’d likely choose a different product if I needed it again

This little setup has been hours of entertainment for my wife and little princess. They have made so many pompoms, and counting. The wife even made one to replace the one that fell off of my beanie. This is a nice and easy to use setup. Well worth the money.

These pompom makers are so fun. A little time consuming but once you get the hang of them it’s easy! You get small medium large and extra large pompom makers! I’m using them to put in the middle of my Xmas bows and ribbons and thinking about using the small possibly the medium one to make snowmen ornaments or for a little extra gift topper!! I’m really digging these!

I purchased this item and thought I received a defective set because the pieces didn’t hold together correctly so that you could make the Pom poms. However, when I received it I realized that it is how it is made because the replacement set I got is almost exactly the same. Interestingly, I also realized when I received my replacement that I never received the yarn with the original that I had purchased (the replacement came with yarn). I would spend a few dollars more, forego the yarn and get a better quality. This one is going back as well. Very dissatisfied.
