Work great for guitar fret work!
...especially while using a fret guard protector like you'd use with a file, for crowning frets.Made quick work of leveling a couple high frets. File, 320 grit, 1500, 2500, then nail buffer block worked just fine without having to bust out a Dremel.Wet or dry works, holds a small amount of moisture if you wring them out so you don't get your fretboard wet, just the fret.

Not bad for price, but not great either
I'll compare to the usual multi colored micro mesh pads. In that regard 54 pieces seems like a great deal. However, they are single sided pads and the range is somewhat strange. The colored pads range from 1500 to 20000 if memory serves which works well for me. Since my sandpaper takes me to 600. So the 320, 400, and 600 don't really work. Then the top end of these pads is 3500, which is adequate for my CA finishes, but not always as good as the colored pads. I find it depends on the material. But all in all a good set for the price.

Perfect size and long lasting
I use these to polish acrylic pen blanks on my lathe. The are well made and the grit seems about right. I like the fact that they have a sponge backing that holds the water when wet sanding. The seem to be lasting about a dozen blanks per set. I signed up for them on monthly subscription. Great product.

Great for resin 3D printing
Been using these for a while. Just purchased a second bath. Works great for resin 3D printed modeling.

Great little pads
After getting other pads that have a color coded chart for the different grit these are nicely labeled with the grit size. They are softer and more flexible than others and will work great for fine detail sanding.

Works great, very durable.
I used the 320-1500 pads to polish up a brass bass guitar nut that had several machining marks. I should have started with a slightly coarser grit, but didn't feel like going out to the garage. The 320 did the job, but took a little time. Moving up through the grits produces a nice shine, but I eventually took it to the buffing wheel for mirror polish. I used the same set of pads to polish the file marks off of frets of the bass (22 strips of nickel about 2" long) after shaping them, and they did a great job on that also. I rinsed them out twice, and even after all that use, that same set of pads still seems to be going strong. I did go up to the 2500 grit on the frets, and then a quick polish with the dremel. The padding is a nice density for the size - some stiffness, but soft enough to fold or bend to tight contours. Should work good on plastic as well as metal. They should also work good for final polishing on small wood turning projects, especially pens, but the pads are a little too small to be practical for larger projects.
