The plate is all one material: a rubber material. I own a barbell with smooth sleeves. The plates go on with relative ease, but it is definitely a tight fit. I don't recommend if you have a barbell with ribbed sleeves. The plates come in pairs and has 2 inch hole for Olympic barbells.In my experience, the packaging for the 5lb plates broke and one of the plates must have fallen out. Happy Tao sent a replacement by FEDEX, which was promptly lost in Oregon. Then they sent another replacement and now I'm happily working out.

No complaints! Came in great condition, seems like a quality product, and good fit on the olympic bar.

Wasn't the size I wanted. They don't fit an Olympic barbell however I kept them and I'll purchase a different type of bar. Great for a starter.

I was excited to get the 10,5,2.5 set but disappointed to learn they do not fit on my standard barbell. The set of 10’s also weigh 19.8 pounds together (not enough for me to care if they actually went on my barbell). Would be a 5 star product with great value but poorly QC’d

The weights do what they are supposed to do and do not cost as much as the inflated prices on the market including Rogue Fitness. Yes they are slightly tight on my standard rogue fitness Olympic barbell but they are actually getting easier each time I use them and they def can be wiggled back and fourth off. Slight inconvenience but again not paying rogue prices etc. you could dremel/file the ID bore but not that serious. Great for the price and they are weights that weigh lol.Customer service was immediate, had a drop off issue and vendor was immediate to respond and help. Great customer service.

(I bought the 1.25, 2.5 and 5lb pairs).Solid change plates, and they were in stock unlike some of the other big vendors. They look nice, and work. They're a snug fit on an olympic bar (I have a rep sabre bar fwiw), you may need two hands to pull them on/off. But once they're on they dont move. I slide them on outside my collars, and they dont move at all after multiple reps of cleans and dropping the weights.Packaging was solid too, thick cardboard and lots of packing tape to ensure they weren't damaged in transit. Thumbs up, would recommend.

Love the quality, but the whole shipping cost thing and the price is a bit overrated I think the price should be about half of what it costs now...

These are quality plates but did not fit on a standard Olympic barbell. I had to use a Dremel (sanding bit) to widen the hole to allow them to slide onto the bar. They are the only bumper plates I own (several different brands) that I've had this with. Fortunately they are made of hard rubber and are easily sanded.
