Good design but small
This French press works well and is good for travel. I would like it to be bigger. Cleaning it out is a lot of work for such a small amount of coffee. Even for travel it could be bigger.

Great coffee
Good and large size. Makes excellent coffee. Very easy to clean. Good filtration, and looks quite nice sitting with my coffee setup.

Broken
The media could not be loaded. I can’t use this press because it arrived broken. The whole bottom is smashed with shards of glass everywhere. It is dangerously a hazard to open. I would not buy from this company because of the defective product.

Quite impressed!
I am new to French Press coffee making, so I still have a bit to learn about the proper amount of coffee to use in it. Having said that, it is well made, simple to operate and does exactly what it should! Make a really good cup of coffee.I am impressed by the workmanship of the interior workings: the lid fits properly the mesh does not let any grounds through, and the rubber fits and seals tightly.Would order again!

Looks great and makes good coffee, but craftsmanship is a little lacking.
When I ordered this French Press, is was listed for $19.99. With that price in mind, I was on the fence between rating it 2 or 3 stars. It did not come with extra mesh filters like another I ordered in the price range, the metal frame was also a bit warped and I had to manually bend it to make the glass part slide in and out easier. The lid also feels a bit on the cheap side and has gaps where water can build up, and I was unable to separate the metal top of the lid from the plastic underside to rinse out the trapped gunk properly. The biggest issue though is that the lid doesn't have a snug fit, it's completely loose other than the pressure of the filter holding it in place. It leaves a big enough gap that coffee grinds which escaped the filter can still slip under the lid's grind-catcher when pouring. I have to press the lid forward against the pouring spout to close the gap enough for it to catch those coffee grinds, which is a bit of an annoyanceThe spring that the filter rests on when pressing has a bit of a loose section of spring, like a jagged paperclip sticking out of something. This does not functionally impact it, but it does irk me to see and looks like poor craftsmanshipThat aside, it looks great and makes good coffee, the handle is more solid than the thinner-bendable metal body surrounding the glass and easy for me to handle despite being thin and flat. The metal surrounding the glass does get scalding-hot, but the handle remains cool enough to handle. It's nice to be able to see into the glass easier through the metal bars, especially for recipes that call for examining the position of the grounds and scraping off the crust. I can always remove the glass from the body beforehand to see even easier, and replace it when done to keep the glass protected between uses.Pressing the filter through the glass had a smoother feeling than my other press, and didnt really feel like it was scraping or taking too much effort. The filter cannot press all the way to the bottom, rather it has a gap that seems to account for about 30 grams of coffee grinds (Or more if your making a concentrate). It does hold a little over 600 grams of water AFTER the grounds have been added according to my scale, which is good for me since I usually split two 300 gram servings with someone when making coffee for two. The metal filter's edges appear to have been manufactured in a way to help keep the mesh from fraying or tearing. At the time of posting my review though, the price has lowered down to a mere $9.99. If your lucky enough to catch it for that price, it's flaws are forgivable, and I'd be inclined to rate it higher. Basing it on what it was when I ordered though, I couldn't go higher than 3 stars.

Perfect for travelers
I travel a lot for work and I can't always rely on the coffee provided by the hotel. This travel French press has just upped my travel game. It is 12 oz, the perfect size cup. It's double walled so your beverage stays hot, and the press keeps the grounds in the bottom of the mug. The lid has a lock on it so it won't pop open, and it is leak proof. The first photo shows what the inside of the lid looked like after I shook it upside down. You can see the rubber plug on the lid that keeps the drinking hole sealed. I've seen these before, but at a much higher price point. With this, it'll pay for itself in one trip. Perfect gift for the coffee snob in your life.
