It's large screen plus (WiFi + Cellular) really make big difference from regular sized phones. I drop thinks, but It is rouge. The protection is very serious. Also GPS, Movies, YouTube, etc. all is more peasant. The down side is the camera. Its the same, I would say, not advanced quality similar to Galaxy Note 5. Galaxy Note 5 was a good phone, but I experienced better quality camera on Galaxy 9, that I also have. To be free of caring it I suggest using smart watch, so you will not miss call or text when you go to the stores, or appointments etc. Caring the regular sized phone is also not a grate pleasure. I'm happy with Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 8.0" 16GB, 3GB RAM. Grate product when you using it, but not when you caring it. Hey leave longer and wait to see how it will change. Some may never be satisficed. I'm very happy with what I have.

Cool tablet but I am super disappointed it does not do 4G on AT&T

Very sturdy, I bought this for the time I will drop it. It is heavy though, and finding a case for professional use has been a challenge, most cases are either bright plastic/silicone; designed for a delivery person (with a strap); or top end milspec ready for Armageddon. I just wanted a durable tab for court use, but did not want to pay Apple prices. I finally found something called Lifeworks "Blazer" ziparound case, adequate but incorrect camera port.

The product's page advertises that the device can be submerged in 5 feet of water for 30 minutes. I submerged the device in 6 inches of water for 5 seconds and the unit broke. I sent the device for warranty repair (only 2 months old) and was told that the device wasn't covered for warranty repair because of water damage. I called and worked with an agent and they realized it was crazy to claim water damage on something that is suppose to be rugged like this tablet. It has been about 2 months and I have not received a replacement or fixed unit. They want to replace the device with a tablet that is about half of the retail price and is not waterproof.This device would be awesome if it worked, customer support was better, and they actually honored the warranty. None of these things happened for me and I am very disappointed.

This product claims to be unlocked but it is not. You either buy the Verizon or AT&T version and MUST activate on whichever network you select.
