No problem installing it.

Simple to install and operate. Wish it had the ability to add a lock when required. But if you want a very reliable, easy to operate latch for an out building or gate then this is for you. But if you need to be able to lock the building or gate look elsewhere.

My dog kept opening cabinet doors & terrorizing everything. The latches worked great so the dog doesn’t use her paws to open anymore.

Used this for a bathroom pocket door. The current latching handle doesn't work well, and my kids were forgetting to knock! Replacing the handle wouldn't work because of the cutout, so we added this latch, and put a silicone bumper on the pocket frame. It's working great, holds secure, and makes guests feel more comfortable. I posted it up high enough that a small child wouldn't be able to reach it, for safety's sake.

I had a terrible time finding a 90 degree lock that would allow for my small gap and was also solid, not moveable. So many of the 90 degree locks have a moveable hinge, so the lock doesn't stay solid. I needed a solid lock for a pet gate that would also accommodate a small gap. This is very well made. The included screws are junk (2 heads broke off, and I was only using a hand screwdriver, not a drill) so I would not recommend using them. Another thing to note is you cannot add a padlock to this, so it's not a security lock. Otherwise, it's a great lock set.
