Good book but slightly over hyped.
Ok so there has been a LOT of hype on this book and so I just HAD to see what all the fuss is about.Plot:Evie Porter has it all. She has the hottest boyfriend Ryan who just adores her and things are getting serious, fast. However we soon learn Evie Porter isn't actually Evie Porter at all! That's because her real name is Lucca Marino and her past is anything but simple. Suddenly there is another woman who showed up who looks like her twin and is pretending to be Lucca Marino and when things start going from bad to worse, Evie will have to figureout who is who and what is what pretty quickly. It's a good thing she her biggest asset is her biggest secret. Who exactly is Evie Porter?Told in dual timeline of present and past the simplistic language will be a keen reminder that the author's body of work has been up until now all Young Adult. Is the hype real?In a word NO, but that's not to say the book is bad! Not at all! I just expected more! It's hooks you in pretty quickly and keeps you hooked throughout. However the story is on the juvenile side as is the language, which are not criticisms per say, however I just cannot give it a 5 stars. I've mentioned before how I hate the bad guy confession at the end of the book and whilst this did not have that it did have a main character confession/tell all that again just seemed so YA it simply loses points for parading itself as an adult thriller when it reads as a YA in every way.
