These are the best casters I found for using on storage shelves with the right angle metal legs. Not a perfect fit as far as matching up holes, but I just needed to drill a couple of fresh holes and use some washers to make everything fit nice & snug. This isn’t an issue unique to these casters though. (Would be nice if all shelf makers made it easier to add wheels since it’s a huge convenience for customers, especially with big shelves that are hard to move.) These are actually a life saver and the best casters I’ve found for heavy duty metal shelving with right angle legs. With 1000 lb max capacity I’m not worried about stressing out the casters with what’s on my shelves. They are not cheap, but what truly heavy duty casters are? Buying the 8 pack provides some savings over a 4 pack and is worthwhile if you have multiple shelves you want to add wheels to.

Did the job. Heavy duty wheels roll smooth. Fairly easy to install on shelves that were already in use, Makes getting the shelves out of the way to clean the garage very easy!

Great product. Only reason for a “4” is there were 7 washers missing from the kit, putting me in a real bind three-quarters through installation. Make sure you have all the hardware before installing.

I added these caster wheels to my metal shelving so that I could move them for floor cleaning or chasing lizards out that wander into my garage. they are sturdy and look good. The design of the bracket made it easy to to mount securely to the leggs of the storage racks. These wheels allow me to easily move the racks around when needed and lock in place when stationary. They are well worth the price.

They seem to work just okay. I put 8 casters on 2 shelves. One seems to work fine, the other with the same amount of weight (way less than 500lbs) , didn't. The metal for the caster brackets is a bit thin and the design of the shelf legs leaves a gap between the top of the caster and any support from the shelving unit. I had to make spacers to go between the two in order to prevent bending. Other than that, they seem to work okay.

These casters are heavy-duty and the work!

Just what I needed for my storage racks in the basement. Now, they can be rolled anywhere with ease! Great buy!

Broke after only 300 lbs loaded. My first set of wheel work as described because I have the lowest shelf support set to the bottom. Second set of wheels I set up the shelf above, and my uprights bent when the caster got caught in a small crack while loaded). It’d damage my shelf and got myself injured. The product descriptions should advise customers on how to installing. I also think that these wheels only work well with certain kinds of shelving, such as rivet style shelving. The wheels itself are well made and these will get the job done if manufacturers show description, and recommendation shelf.

Needed to drill some holes into racking to match bolt area for wheels but works great!
