This gadget works fine on a strong-medium DVT signal, but handle with care.NOTE: It is in 2 parts - the top screws onto the base, and therein lies a problem. The base houses a very small threaded spigot which is, to say the least, underdesigned. It will break or shear off if the top is tightened down, rendering the whole unit useless as it cannot be repaired.To be fair Maplin sent a replacement immediately and without argument. Maybe this is a common problem they are having.Otherwise good value.
