An insert that really works!
I recently traded in an older vehicle for a newer one. Older cars and pickups in the US had built-in cup holders that hold cups of almost any size. Newer vehicles have tiny little cup holders into which 12-oz. drink cans, 12-oz. styrofoam cups, and tapered fast food and convenience store cups will fit, but not much else. My newer vehicle is a 2015 Suburban, and it shares cup holder size with many other recent GM cars and lots of other vehicles as well.I like to use my hard plastic 64-oz. drink cups. Now, before you blow a gasket, I don't fill them with sugar, but rather with water or some other sugar-free, non-alcoholic beverage. There's no way my cups would fit in my new cup holders--and I quickly learned that well-made after-market inserts are surprisingly rare. I took a chance and ordered a Smart Kup. Even though it is not sold under the "Amazon Prime" rubric, it arrived very quickly, and with no shipping charges. So far, so good. It's made of sturdy ABS plastic, rather than some sort of weak stuff, and likely will last a long time. But would it fit my cup holders?Sadly, it did not. The fit was all loosey-goosey and wobbly, and any large cup I put in it would tip over the second I left the curb. RATS!Then, while I was rooting around in my kitchen Everything Drawer, I came upon a lightweight neoprene koozie. It was worth a shot. The koozie was a tight fit, because the bottom of the Smart Kup is larger than a beer can. But it fit, and it fit snugly. I put the Smart Kup with the koozie into the cup holder. PERFECT FIT!Next I filled one of my plastic cups to the brim with water, put on the lid, put my cup into the Smart Kup, and took a little drive. The top part of the Smart Kup is significantly taller than its competitors, and it held my cup solidly upright. Bumpy road. The drink cup didn't budge. Sharp curves and corners. The drink cup stays upright and secure. EXCELLENT!There's also a cut-out slot in the side of the Smart Cup, so that I could use a good-sized coffee cup easily, so long as I didn't fill it absolutely to the brim with steaming coffee. The Smart Kup passed ALL of my tests with flying colors. So I immediately ordered another one for the second front cup holder in my vehicle. It showed up in the middle of the US today after a quick trip from Hawaii. These are the ones to get, folks, and they're keepers!SO: design and construction--five stars. Convenience--five stars. Value received for money spent--five stars. Appearance--it's not the Venus de Milo, but it looks good enough. Five stars there too. Durability--built of sturdy ABS rather than some flimsy junk. Five stars. AND they'll hold many insulated water bottles as well! Where's the down side?

Made a custom fit, and love it!
For everyone asking if it will fit in a certain make or model of car, I can tell you that for the price, take the chance and purchase this, then use the trick I figured out to make a custom fit. The cup holders in my 2001 Honda CRV are plentiful, but useless. They are all too shallow, making every cup, container and bottle I put in them, a projectile during right turns. Since life with only left turns, where the bottles are protected by my arm rest and therefor don't fly out, would be very inconvenient, I purchased this cup holder. At first I was very disappointed because the base of the cup holder was far too small to fit into my car's cup holder, and would have been a projectile itself. But then I had a McGuiver epiphany on how to solve the problem, rather than continuing to go through numerous brands/styles of other cup holders and wasting a lot of time and money. For those willing to jnvest an additional $1.89 plus tax and about five minutes of their time, this cup holder can be custom fit for just about any car. I purchased a small bag of "Super Duty" rubber bands, and continued to layer them on the base until it fit properly. It now fits perfectly, with no wiggling or slipping. The fit now is perfect. I was also really pleased rhat no one can even tell that I completed an unorthodox fix, as all the rubber bands are hidden by the car's cup holder, and none of them show at all. Think about it, since the size of cup holders in cars do not have a standardized size, it would be nearly impossible to manufacture an after-market cup holder that fit every car. Try my rubber band trick, and you migt be very pleased with your purchase. If the problem is that the base of the Smart Kup 808 Innovate cup holder is too big to fit, I got nothin'.

Good product, with some adjustments
I was looking for something for my Hydroflask 32/40 ounce tumbler to fit in my car. This was a little loose in my cupholder and when I put my Hydroflask in it it was slightly wobbly. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla.I found a solution to fit cupholder securely in my vehicle and the Hydroflask in the cupholder. I added 2 small floor protectors that I put on the outside of cupholder (1 on each side) and 2 on each side inside of cupholder to secure the Hydroflask for a good fit in the cupholder (both on the same side); if you put on different sides the Hydroflask will not fit. However, they fit perfectly when he put both on the same side. This us a good product for the price. I'm giving this four stars because you have to think of an alternate solution to get the cupholder to fit securely in your vehicle and an alternate solution to get the Hydro flask to fit in the cupholder. See photos of the Hydroflask in cupholder and the small protector I put it inside/outside cupholder to get it to fit my vehicle cupholder and Hydroflask (without wobbling).

Decent Quality
This cup doesn't quite fit in my cup holder on a Ford Ranger. I now prefer to have my bottle in the door and use this to have keys and a remote in the cup holder.
