A-Premium Front Hood Trunk Supports Shock Struts Compatible with Porsche

These immediately remedied my issues on my Cayman. There took a minute to install and have held up great for several months now. OEM replacement at a great price.

These fit perfectly on my 2005 Porsche Carrera 997 body . Prop the hood open with a broomstick or similar so that the hood does not fall on you while working. Taking them off requires a very sharp tiny screwdriver or ice pick type tool. Wedge your tool in under each clip , go slow and wear some light work gloves if you can to work the clip out on each end of the hood support. Put the new hood support in one end at a time by simply pressing it onto the round nub so that the clip grabs on. No need to take the clips off. they will simply snap on when you push them in place. Do the bottom one first then compress the hood support down to size and while holding it compressed press it on to the upper ball connecting point on the hood. Done ! These are much stronger then my old hood supports ever were. The hood snaps up now and frankly it's a little jarring. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have purchased other items from this company and have never had an issue. High quality stuff. These hood shocks work great so why pay more for OEM when these work and look just as good for a great price. I would highly recommend thinner right angle picks as the ones I own would not fit behind the small raised area in order to detach them. I also tried a small flathead screwdriver and ran across the same thing. Not the seller’s fault as my original ones were the same way. Online videos make it sound quick and easy but on my car this wasn’t true. Anyway. I had to improvise and about an hour later had both of mine done.

Fit 2008 911 as advertised. The spring force seems much higher than the original gas springs that came with car but they do fit and function. Great value. We will see about longevity

I own a 2007 911 Porsche Turbo. These shock structs came to me within a couple days. Was little concerned if they would fit properly ....however I installed both within 15 minutes & that is never had any e experience in any type of job task of this nature. I do strong protect the area especially the front fenders with heavy towel to protect your paint as one slip & big paint repair...so be extra careful. I give 5 stars for product and 5 stars for ease of installing. Now I can open my front hood without fear of it dropping down and hitting me in the head. A big thumbs up!!!!!

Excellent quality and fitment on Porsche 911 hood and significantly cheaper than having the dealer install them. The shocks should include removal and installation instructions as there is a lot of differing info on you tube that could cause someone to remove and lose the retainer clip if they don’t know what they are doing
