Depends on if you're a "tight" 139 or a flabby 139. They a pretty tight. I'm normally xl and could have atleast upsized to a 3x. So honestly its not really about what your measurements are but how they are going to fit your midsection. So if you have anything at all that you don't want spilling out up size but if your body is fit go with the medium.

NO, I just wore it for the first time and liner did not stick. I wish I could return them.
