Q: Ingredient says "key west" lime juice. their smaller glass bottles say "key lime" juice. is this regular non-key lime juice?

The Nellie and Joe brand yellow plastic bottles with the green plastic caps hold "Key West lime juice" (not juice made from Key Limes). The other, glass bottle holds real Key Lime juice (i.e., juice from the smaller, sweeter Key Lime).

Q: i see people think this is fake is this real key lime juice from the mexican grown little yellowish limes used in key lime pie?

Nellie's makes a less expensive juice that I have always used in key lime pie. This is the first time I have used the real key lime juice. It comes in a glass bottle, nicely packaged, needs to be refrigerated immediately, but I honestly could not tell much difference in my pie. I also sometimes put the whole eggs in my pie, not just the yolks, which makes for a creamy consistency. I will probably get the other juice again next time.

Q: Is nellie & joe's key west lime juice gluten free?

Not sure about gluten or not. However, the label lists ingredients as Key West Lime juice from concentrate, and less than 1/10 of 1% sodium benzoate as a preservative.

Q: can I safely use best by 2019?

If it's an unopened bottle, there's a 99.9% chance that it's fine. If it's been open SINCE 2019, then no! Lemon and lime juice is amazingly shelf stable.
