High Temperature PTFE Vise Jaws

Works under high heat like a hot air machine. That is what o needed

The PTFE survives momentary hits from an iron tip, which makes these much nicer than the standard jaws which were quickly pock-marked with use. Recommended.

These are very simple and work great - but anyone can make them in their home shop. I don't have a shop so I had to buy them. They are so simple that a quick deburr/file around the edges would take like 10 seconds, but that wasn't done here. In fact, the Stickvise product itself had a bunch of scuffs from a misaligned tapping attempt that's hidden away when you put on the soft jaws. Not a big deal, but a big let down from the quality you'd expect from something at this price.

Been using these with a hot air station and a soldering iron. They work great! Fit perfectly well on the vise!

The rails that come with the vice will melt with a soldering iron These Teflon rails will not melt. The vice should come with these, not charge an extra 15 dollars for them - but they do work.

It doesn't melt under a soldering iron and you can throw the whole stick vise into a reflow oven with a PCB on it. Making life way easier

I agree with the previous 4 comments.. These jaws are a very useful addition to one of the most useful and well-designed tools for soldering ever created. Well worth the cost, and I will soon purchase both another Stickvise and another set of high-temperature jaws.
