Okay Guys! If you have been following my reviews, you know that I give honest feedback. I got my first products, and it was leaking, but wrote to the vendor, and let me tell you... within minutes, they responded, and told me they were going to send me another set out right away! And, within a day or two, I had my PLEX Defender & Repair Bundle on my doorstep. I was impressed!!! I tried the product and my hair never looked better! I used it as a hair strengthener. Use it half & half, after using the shampoo (which I love!). My hair, which is dyed white white blonde, and is fried and brittle, turned out soft and strong, and I haven't experienced much hair loss, which is great, since I am also a chemo patient. If my hair turned out this well, your hair will be much better than mine, and that's saying something! So, yes! This product is worth it! This is TERRIBLE and definitely does not protect hair during the bleaching process. It’s supposed to be an Olaplex dupe but had I looked closely at the ingredients, I would have seen that there’s not ONE bond multiplying agent in it at ALL. Not only this but you get so little product it’s crazy. What they say is “6 applications” is really only one and I even have short hair....Now that Olaplex 0 has arrived I strongly recommend using it followed by Olaplex 3. If you can get your hands on it and can afford it, nothing beats Olaplex 1 and 2. However, the Brazilian Blowout Bond Builder (B3) is amazing as well and is only a single step. You can purchase individual “doses” of B3 on ebay. One of these small tubes is added to bleach/developer or color/developer. It works wonders and really does prevent a lot of damage. But Olaplex 1 and 2 will always be the benchmark. If you’re more interested in a bond multiplying treatment, then definitely go with Olaplex 0 followed by Olaplex 3. Or the Schwartzkopf Bonding Potion and Bonding Mask, which is really good too. The only Olaplex “dupe” I’ve ever tried that really worked was Powerbond, which I can’t find anywhere. I’ve tried MANY supposed Olaplex dupes (none worse than this Plex garbage) and Powerbond is hands down the best. That is not to say it’s as awesome as Olaplex 1 and 2 or B3, but it is great and the price WAS amazing as well.

The product appeared to work well, right up until I used the shampoo, which has such a terrible chemical processing smell! It even lingers after rinsing, I have ordered the conditioner separate but if it smells anything like that shampoo, I don't care how good it works, it's going back!!

I like to add these in my color or bleach to elope add protein to protect my hair. My hair was preciously damaged so it real soft, but did help with combing-so had to do something right.

Highly recommend for over processed hair. Does a great job conditioning. I even mixed part 1 into color before processing. Great way to have successful results and keep hair conditionsed.

I was hoping for a miracle, but I didn't get it. It didn't make any more of a difference than just some regular conditioner. I wasn't thrilled with the smell either but I'm not a fan of citrus fruit smells.

Loved it not as good as olaplex but for the price difference it's worth it

The shampoo leaves my hair feeling like it doesn’t even need conditioner and i love it! I’m not yet sold on the treatment but i’ve only used it once, although it did help just not as much as i would have expected after seeing the results of the shampoo. Would definately still recommend for people with very dammaged hair!

I was dubious about this product due to the negative reviews. My hair is fine and needed to bleach it to get the grey colour I desired, Having used Olaplex in the past I gave this a shot as it's half the price. Left my hair feeling smooth and soft after bleaching twice within a week. I highly praise this product.

The system is time processed.I bought for hair strengthening. That was 3 steps and it’s about an hour to complete.The amount in the tubes (1& 2) is very small.Not enough to treat a whole head.I focused on front and sides.Does it work? I think it requires long term repeated use to really see results and that may be desired or not.

Great for using during chemical use on hair like bleaching and colouring but the shampoo is dreadful it reminded me of perm solutions
