A good case that accommodates dual-fan heatsinks
I purchased a dual fan heatsink for my Raspberry Pi 3+ ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D5WWNH6 ) and then went looking for a case that that would work with it. After failing miserably with a multi-layer acrylic case that did not mesh well with the PoE header nor with heatsinks on the USB/wired Ethernet controller, I went hunting again and came across this case.It feels relatively solid, it accommodates my heatsink with room to spare, and is well ventilated. As far as looks go it does lean a little toward the utilitarian side, but I'd rather have that than the toy-ish looks of other cases. I Would probably consider another one of these for my next RPi case. That said, a two-point system for securing the board would have been better than the single screw, but if it's tight enough everything is steady and solid.

Can't access SD card
SD card is impossible to remove once the case is installed, you'll need to unscrew most of it first.

Tweezers Required
First off the Pi 3B+ fits into the case very nicely. It is secured only with a single screw near the WiFi chip. Since the USB and Ethernet connectors fit snugly in their holes at the far end, the board is adequately secured for most applications. But it basically floats on its support. The case itself is metal (I like that) and well ventilated on top. But it is basically just a box, mounting of heat sinks (not supplied) on key chips should not be a problem. However the case does not come with any feet (rubber bumps) nor does it have slots for wall mounting. Since the bottom screws are not adequately countersunk, the bottom screw heads could potentially scratch any surface it rests upon. Additionally, the top cover (the only one needed to be removed to insert the Pi), should only be put on one way...since there is a slight cut in the long edge to provide for any ribbon cable to attach to the GPIO connector.Inserting the microSD is no problem. Once installed, it is very difficult to remove...tweezers required.

Worked out perfect.
I used mine to make me a DMR Hotspot. I used a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and a DMR Modem HAT. Added a SMA jack. Working great.Very sturdy case. Love it. :)

Works for pi3, better for pi2
Great quality, but not designed for pi3, works much better with pi2, only because sd card doesn't pop out like pi2

not recommended if you plan to ever change the card
I was looking for some metal cases for the pis I have but this is not what you want. once you assemble it, you're going to find the card is recessed in the enclosure. so you basically have to open it up to change the card. to top if off, if you don't do it perfectly you're going to bend your card in half and break it. just busted mine trying to pull the card out so I could upgrade something. every one of my other cases, I just slide the card in and out. if you have to do all this just to gain access to the card, that's a fail to me. you're better off with a different engineered case by someone else. too bad I didn't know this before I ordered a few of these. def not something I'll be keeping or using again

Medocre quality, worse design
The only reason this get 2 is becuase it is one of the only vented cases which is nice for something like a tinkerboard. The design is bad. The case splits at the sides for the sound and HDMI but the micro USB is just a hole and some tricky, if your not careful you might break the port. To remove the board is even worse, you must undo all 8 screws becuase it wedges in there ans the USB doesn't situation doesnt help. While you are undooing and redoing all 8 screws you will have plenty od time to notice the treads aren't super great either, workable but not great. This, combined with the fact you absolutely cannot remove an SD card (you might not even be able to insert it) makes this case a bad proposition. Also, when you do have to take the case of a few times the finish is not very durable. I could see bits of silver through yhr black after the first the I disassembled and reassembled before i even put a board in it. Also, there is only a single screw post otherwise the board just floats in the case which definetly seems cheap.

sinceramente de las cajas mas elegantes.
Aunque ahora con la moda de las cajas con forma de consola retro.Ya se hecha de menos cajas de calidad sobrias.
