Awesome as alway
Typical Brayden, with her quirky humour and quick one liners, which i absolutely adore! A Good plot, character development, romance development and just plain fun to read. Like always love the banter between friends and lovers. Very eager to read Gia's and Hadley's stories. There was one thing though, i felt that Isabel's and Hadley's characters had changed a bit from the first book. I had the impression the Hadley was a dark woman with dark hair and that Isabel was sarcastic but quietly confident. This book stated Had's as a blonde bomshell, and Isabel as outspoken with an 'out there' confidence. I can see how Isabel's change could be seen as growth but Hadley's image spun me out a bit. BUT this could've just been a missinterpretation from something I read in the first book and not at all accurate. Will have to ho nacl and read it again:)

Here's to road trips and falling in love!
Damn you, Melissa Braden! You make me stay up too late at night reading your books! I love the characters in this book and was so happy to see another chapter in their lives. Please tell me that the story continues for Hadley and Gia, because I need to have more of them in my life!

Loved It.
This second installment of the Seven Shores series is better than the first. Autumn is a likeable protagonist, and I like the way her relationship with Kate develops. Brayden gives the reader a fuller picture of the core group of friends in this book, as well. Each of the four personalities really shines through and the banter between them is fun. Hadley is my favorite character so far, and I look forward to see where Brayden takes her story.

These friends are the kind that will help you hide a body
I loved this book! I love the comedy and the closeness of the friends. I just wish it was longer, I love long books. Can't wait for the next one.

Chronic Brayden reader disappointed
I’ve read nearly all of Melissa Brayden’s books and have thoroughly enjoyed them. However, Hearts like Hers was predictable from the start. There was no cat and mouse game which left me wanting more and reading late into the night. Instead, I was skimming through pages just to finish. I’m hoping Brayden’s next book proves to be more.

Opportunity Missed
Melissa is a great writer, and I would have expected the 2nd book to this series to be on par with Eyes Like Those. Sadly it was not, which is such a shame. This feels a little rushed. Books from Melissa and Georgia Beers are now being churned out at an alarming rate, and I worry solid story lines and depth of characters are suffering because of it. Everything was a little too far fetched, a little too quick and something was just lacking. The friends seemed a little side lined in this episode, and I had to double take at the Epilogue date - 6 MONTHS LATER - really? Having gone through IVF recently, I think an opportunity was truly missed here. It was OK - but I long for the adventures, intricacies and captivating storylines that her previous books have brought (Waiting in the Wings - swoon). I'd rather wait a little longer for something a little more solid.

Very enjoyable. A great read!
Beautifully written. Lovely well rounded characters with empathy and support for each other that I would expect to find amongst women. I loved the setting too; the coffee bar and Autumn; a lovely character. The attraction between Kate and Autumn was very understandable; they were made for each other one might say! I loved the happy ending. This is the first novel I have read by Melissa Brayden and I was, in a way, researching lesbian fiction that portrayed realism, which I think, this does very well. I am a great believer in the strength that women possess in working and living together, so this book reinforced that belief if indeed it needed reinforcing. There is always an innocence, never far away from first encounters. Melissa Brayden portrays this very successfully and I thought the sexual content was handled very subtly. Brian Conn

I crieddd
It’s a short but powerful tug on your heartstrings. The characters are delicately described in a way that you know what they look like and you can (ironically) read them and their aspirations. It’s a beautiful story with it’s ups and downs but ends amazingly

Another brilliant addition to a great series
Another brilliant addition to a great series. There hasn't been a book of Melissa's that I haven't enjoyed yet but they just get better each time. I fall in love with the characters as much as the story each time and this was no exception. The only downside is having to wait til June for the next instalment!
