Brightly colored silicone insulin protectors cushion insulin bottles to stop breakage.
I ordered the MVIIOE Insulin Vial Protector for my insulin vials.I am a Type 1 diabetic. I use an insulin pump and CGM. I feel very lucky I was diagnosed about 20 years ago, unlike my brother who was diagnosed as a kid, back in the bad old days of food exchanges and extreme diet restrictions. Life has definitely gotten easier for T1 diabetics, but there is still a lot of just. plain. stuff. To deal with, and I was delighted to discover these little gadgets to make life a touch easier.Insulin comes in these teeny glass bottles that can break easily. These silicone protectors slip over the vials easily, and give them a measure of protection against breakage. These come in a kit of four. I received two bright pink and two yellow. I’m a pink girl, so I love the color. I like that there are two colors in the set, they could be used by two different family members or for two different types of insulin (like those who use both short-acting and long-acting insulin). The silicone protectors are approximately 2 1/4” tall x 1” wide. (I have no idea why the sales page says they are 9.84 x 9.84 x 2.17 inches. At first I thought they meant centimeters, but that doesn’t work either.) It is quite easy to slip one around an insulin vial. The silicone is thick and provides cushioning in case you drop a vial.I think these are a great product, and I wish I had discovered them earlier. I have spinal issues which make my hands fumbly, I like knowing these will protect my insulin if I drop it accidentally. The design allows you to use the vial while it is in the protective cover. The label is visible through a large hole in the front. You can insert a syringe through a small hole at the top. These also will be great for travel. I tend to use a refrigerated pack when traveling, but the extra protection from the silicone covers is great.Silicone protectors for insulin vials come in four pack, two bright pink, two yellow. These little covers keep your insulin bottles safe.

Such a great product
These little silicone holders are a god send. No more worrying about an insulin bottle breaking. I never knew that these existed but I’m glad I know now.

Neat Little Vial Holder
As soon as I saw these I threw them in my cart. My wife is a type one diabetic and is insulin dependent, so deals with these vials on the regular. She has dropped so many vials on the tile floor and I guess the insulin gods are always with her as she has never broken one. So I got them to help protect the vials and give them a little more grip, as they can be slippery with a little condensation. The other added benefit is the bright colors, she can find a vial in her purse faster or in our luggage. The only negatives are that she has to remove the vial or use a new one when she transfers insulin to her insulin pump and when the vial gets really low it is hard to see air bubbles and such in the vial. So there needs to be a another cut out to aid in seeing the insulin when the vial is nearing completion. She loves these otherwise.

Ok, but be sure to measure!
I'd hoped these would work to protect my semiglutide bottle of meds, but they don't fit. Otherwise they're ok. Pretty thin, so I don't know how much protection it will really provide.

Fits the shorter 10 ml bottles, not the taller ones
If you’ve ever dropped a vial of insulin, (and I have), you know the horrible feeling in your wallet that you get as you clean up the mess. Also, your kitchen may smell like insulin for a day or so. These bottle protectors are a small investment against a significant expense. The vial I dropped cost $113 to replace.10 ML bottles of insulin come in at least two sizes and you get what the pharmacy gives you, so I was relieved when the new bottle turned out to be the shorter one. The rubber/silicone (?) case fits it will (and it does not fit the slightly larger insulin bottle I have as backup). I don’t know if I can request the shorter bottle on the next refill, but I will ask.I like that there is a gap in the cover so you can see what’s in the vial, or turn the bottle, as I did for the photo, so you can see how much insulin you have remaining. The top of the case is open so you can swipe it with alcohol and get the needle in.I like the bright colors. If you had two vials you could easily tell them apart. It was easy to get the bottle into the case.I think I might like an even smaller window opening on the front, but this seems to do the job. I have not dropped it to test. The bottle doesn’t stand as securely when it’s in the case, but that’s not a huge concern.Overall, I am thrilled to have the investment in my pet’s insulin protected. Recommended if you have the short bottles.

No more confusing insulin types!!!
These insulin bottle protectors are PERFECT!! I am an insulin pump user and most all of the time I use fast acting insulin. On occasion I will need to come off the pump and will use a longer lasting insulin. Since I keep my insulin in the refrigerator I just have the bottles sitting side by side. I never really saw a need to keep them separated. The bottles are shaped exactly the same but with a few minor differences in the labeling. There have a been a few times that I will grab the wrong bottle and have to switch them out. On MANY occasions when I ask if someone will grab my insulin , they grab the wrong one. These protectors not only protect my bottles from shattering when occasionally dropped BUT with the two separate colors there are NO MORE grabbing the wrong insulin types. If for nothing else these protectors are a guarantee that you have the right type of insulin!! Even if you are colorblind (which I am) you can differentiate which bottle is which.
