My vet says compressed rawhide is the only safe chew bone for dogs
My vet said compressed rawhide bones are the only safe bones to use. I tried these and my dogs LOVE them! I've reordered twice. My vet says other 'bones' splinter and create internal tears or they can expand in a dogs intestines and create emergency situations. I've been very happy with these compressed rawhide bones and have peace of mind that they are safe for my dogs!

Raw Paws...NOT MADE IN THE USA....only packaged....!!!!!
I Just threw the entire bag of these Raw Paws away....took one out of a fresh bag and my dog was chewing on it on my lap...I smelled a god awful smell...like a dead animal....I took the bone away and it had mysterious things in the bone.....You are misleading the people....this was NOT MADE IN THE USA....only packaged......this is just wrong....don't feed these bones to your dog.

Love your dog? Get them these!
I don't usually take the time to post reviews, but I felt that I needed to give some praise for these dog bones. One of my dogs is very old and picky about the treats she gets. She will gnaw on this for hours without getting bored. My other dog is a puppy and will pretty much eat anything but it's hard to keep his interest. He will also lay and chew this for hours without getting bored. Not only do my dogs love these bones, but they are reasonably priced, they don't get crap all over the furniture (it's pressed raw hide) and they are made in the USA! I'd give these bones ten stars if I could!

Made our dog sick
This chew unmistakably made our dog very sick; panting after hours at rest, increased heart rate, feverish--was terrified for her, but she was better the next morning. I can only think that the people leaving the positive reviews do not know the signs or that it was some kind of allergic or adverse response that not every animal will experience, or contaminants not every bone contains. Now I have a bag of chews I can't give to any dog or donate to a shelter because I don't want to poison the animals. Cannot recommend.

Great quality option for our two 9 pound furbabies who won't chew on nylon or rubber bones!
Our 2 Maltese love these 4 inch compressed rawhide bones. We don't want them chewing rawhide all day long, so we give them each a bone to chew on in the evenings. Each one lasts a long time for our pups. They have only gotten a piece off that was a little too large for our comfort one time and we threw the piece away. For this reason, we do keep an eye on them when they are chewing on these. Both of our furbabies have always been picky about chew bones and don't like nylon or rubber bones at all. We didn't want them chewing on traditional rawhide due to all the warnings about it. At about 9 pounds each, these 4" bones are the perfect size for our little babies. We do throw them away once they have chewed them down to a nub - just out of precaution.

Does not last long!!
These compressed rawhide bones are not at all what I was expecting. I bought the first ones at a locally owned pet supply store (no pets sold there), and each took my Irish terrier pup days to get rid of. I gave him one of these yesterday, and although they look very much like the previous ones I bought, he polished it off in about 20 minutes. That's a LOT of rawhide for any dog, let alone a 7 month old. I'll have to return to the local store bc I don't know who manufactured the ones I like.

my dogs love them!
as the owner of two "super chewer" puppies, I love the pressed rawhide bones. theyre simple, dont stain the carpet or make a mess and keep the dogs busy. to date, my dogs have not chewed any of my shoes, gloves, rugs or furniture because they have appropriate chewing bones. Hurray!

Great and Safe for Puppies
I got some of these for my 8wk old yellow lab puppy. He's 10 weeks and some change now, and has already gone through several! I had many folks react negatively to the "rawhide" factor in these bones, but my dog loves them and as long as they're fully digestible, rawhide is safe. I've had to pick up and throw away the remainders once they got too small to safely chew, but my dog will go at it for hours without splintering into anything unsafe. Definitely buying again!
