This is one of those cases that you wish the directions were better. Reading the enclosed directions will probably result in you being confused on how this is supposed to go onto the window. The material and the thickness is great, but the visual directions seem to be at odds with the written directions. Once we figured things out it seemed to go ok. If you are putting this on thin glass I would suggest cutting it to fit before installing it. I would also suggest that you give yourself about 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) on all sides. Use plenty of water when you first put it down, then slowly push it to the sides with the enclosed squeegee.

I installed in the deck sliding door. It was very easy to install, I had a tough time though to cut for the accurate size, and I didn't have the right tools. It blackouts and provides complete privacy, one of the reasons I got this sheet. In my opinion, the price should be a bit on the lower side otherwise, it should also come with some basic measuring scale(s) and cutting tools if they want to keep the price.
