It definitely hit a chord. Quite often, couples take each other for granted. It's not that they stopped loving, just stopped living for each other. Loved the way it is written.

Ana Huang makes you feel things. It was a good read but personally i loved the twisted series more.The story about finding yourself after getting divorced and choosing yourself which really makes the book worth a read.Although there are few things that makes it a little boring:1. When you are eagerly waiting for a climax but eventually it is not as exciting as expected, or noticed in Ana’s other books.2. A times the characters are a little unrelatable.Overall it is a good read.

Absolutely loved the book. I especially love a second chance romance and throw in some groveling and I am game. It's beautiful that you don't actually need a third person to come in between two people who are struggling with their relationship and identity.Beautifully written.

This book was one of the most hyped books i was waiting for. I wouldn't say I am disappointed but I expected more angst more jealousy, more grovelling. after reading it I still believe, Alex is the best groveler. This book did have a lot of potential and i just hoped a little more. So it isn't exactly a 5-star read for me.

The book was beautifully written with the perfect amount of detail and twists. Personally I found this as a step up than King of Pride. The way it encapsulates the characters from the previous stories and plants the seeds for the next one makes it a delightful read. The focus on the “sin” is pretty good too. The dynamic of the couple was a good change of pace. Looking forward to reading the next book King of Sloth!

It was phenomenal, I loved every part of it from their growing apart to coming back stronger together better then before ,the love the protection, sometimes greed blinds us but love? It shows us the way in dark ;)

I loved the ride of emotion and raw vulnerability she bought with the characters, it was fierce and full of love

I really loved this book for the simple fact that it highlights important facts about marriage. The story is good too. But I feel like there aren’t many “already married” books out there. Spoilers… They start out married then get a divorce because he stopped caring about her and stopped showing up and always chose work over her. She lost herself in their marriage and let one missed dinner after another go, until it happened all the time. This truly goes to show that no matter how long you’ve been married, it’s still important to make your spouse feel loved and cherished. It’s also important not to lose yourself in your marriage. You still need something outside of it to make you happy with yourself. Dominic realized what he already had until it was too late. But he never gave up and continued to pursue his then ex wife. Eventually, they start to date again and she sees the differences in him and he realizes there’s more to life than work and money. Ale goes on other dates but never feels that spark with anyone and eventually gives in to the pull of her then ex husband. Truly a good book to read if you’re married. Or even if you’re not.

Eu já sabia que ia amar esse livro, a gente conhece Dominic e Alessandra no primeiro livro da série e vamos adquirindo informação ao longo dos livros e conhecer tudo que Alessandra passou é forte demais, mas foi necessário para crescimento deles.Dominic aprendeu que nem tudo é dinheiro da forma mais dura possível, e foi bom isso, Alessandra fez ele trabalhar bastante...O crescimento deles foi bonito, a gente está acostumado a ler livro do casais se apaixonando, mas são poucos com o casais já casados há anos, com o tempo vem a rotina, a falta de conversa e ler que é possível voltar ao "primeio amor" faz a gente ter esperanças.Vale muito a pena ler sobre esse casal encantador.

She's been focused on trying to be a good and supportive wife and somehow lost herself in that. Dominic has been so focused, for years, on building his empire for fear of ever losing it and going back to the way he grew up that he misses all the signs that Alessandra hasn't been happy. And the final straw was Dominic missing their 10th wedding anniversary due to a work emergency, again.Moving out and trying to move on, Alessandra started finding herself again and doing things that make her happy; building her business and discovering new and old hobbies again. Dominic has finally realized none of his success is worth anything if he doesn't have Alessandra by his side. He finally realized the most important thing in his life is Alessandra and is worried that it is now too late.Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I pretty much devoured it in 24 hours. While I did wish for a bit more groveling from Dominic, I'm glad they finally get their happy ending again. I can't wait for the next one!!!
