Best control for excited staffie
I have a very exuberant 6 month old Staffie who pulls like a train. I don't normally rate harnesses because the top connecting ones seem to just increase a dog's pulling power and they see it as a challenge. Consequently I tried a head collar which works like a dream for my Lurcher. Not so for a SBT. She just scraped her nose along the pavement obsessively until her nose poured with blood. I tried a different front connecting harness which I just couldn't get to fit comfortably and chafed under her front legs. I nearly gave up on control devices and just resigned myself to shoulder pain. Soooo glad I didn't. This harness is perfect for her. It fits snugly but the elastication in the chest straps mean it's not too tight. I don't seem to have a problem with putting it over her head as she associates it now with a walk so practically runs into it. I took some time at the start to give lots of treats when putting it on so I didn't have to force her into it. Perhaps for dogs who are uncertain I would start with it on a too large setting. The front attachment of the lead renders pulling a pointless exercise as she just rotates back towards me. Genius.

Very Strong
These harnesses or the best I have bought and I've bought a lot. Very easy to fit and take off. My huskies don't pull on lead as much with this harness. Definitely worth the money.

Brilliant product
We have a particularly large and strong Siberian Husky who we rescued a couple years ago who had never been properly lead trained. We have tried a huge amount of products and expert advice to aid in training so we could walk him and not be in a perpetual game of tug of war risking injury to him and/or us.Since getting this product he has improved immensely! I couldn't recommend this more, this has made walking him far more enjoyable for us and the dog.The item is good quality and has a decent amount of reflective material on it for evening walks. We have a large male Siberian Husky and opted for the Large size which fits him comfortably.

Great harness
I love these harnesses, they are a bit fiddly to adjust but once it’s done no need to do it again. They are very secure, she can’t reverse out of this one when she puts the breaks on! They are easy to put on and take off, stong but soft and comfortable and I love the vibrant colour.

A little difficult to adjust initially but great once set.
I like this harness, it's well made and comfortably fits our 12kg cockapoo. In particular I appreciate the two rings for attaching leads for closer control and the handle for restraining the dog (not that I ever need it, honest). My only gripe would be that it is initially very hard to adjust to get the sizing right. In our case we have to put it on, remove it, adjust it, try it again, adjust etc. It's certainly not practical to adjust whilst on the dog. That said, once adjusted it is easy to put on and our dog is very comfortable in it.All of the connectors are solid and there are no parts to it that look likely to break easily so overall it's of a high quality.

Great harness
This front lead harness works so well for my 8month old Labrador pup who pulled on a harness when the ring was only on the back. This fits well around her chest and neck and is easily adjusted. However, I couldn't give 5 stars because the chest pad between her front legs is a bit big and so the harness pulls to the side a little. She'll grow into it and it will be fine when she does. The smaller size wasn't big enough around her chest so this was the compromise. It looks lovely and is padded in the right places. The rings are solid metal and hold her well although she's getting much better at walking to heel now. The harness had helped because she gets turned around sideways if she pulls. This, mixed with a clicker and rewards, means I now have a puppy who's a pleasure to take for a walk and who looks great too!

Excellent Product still after 1 year in use!
Update: 1 year later - this harness is still going strong, used daily on long country walks, little to no wear or tear as yet, has been an excellent investment!Original review:This is a really well made sturdy harness. If I picked this off the shelf and seen the quality and the price, I would snap this up! It’s really good!I have looked at a lot of harnesses, both online and on the shelf and took the gamble on this one as it was a really good price and also because I got fed up looking while my poor dog was out growing his current one too quickly while I read reviews! So I took the plunge and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but wow was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived!First impression – has some weight to it (the rings and ladder buckles are actually metal, not plastic, really pleased with this as I worry about a harness breaking) and it is really very well made, you can tug at the rings and see there is no give, stitching is strong and neat. The inside is slightly padded and you can see it is made for the comfort of your dog (I have taken some pictures of the underside to show this, no raw edges etc that could rub on the dogs skin or cause discomfort)The reflective parts (piping and stitching) are ultra-reflective, this is really important feature for us as we walk our dog on country roads sometimes in the dark. I do think to maintain the reflective quality it will have to be washed down occasionally in case mud etc mask the reflective stitching & piping.Dogs first impression! – our dog was used to a strap harness and before that a light mesh harness so this was relatively heavy by comparison. I will say he wasn’t impressed at first; he refused to move, I guess this was heavy with much more cover than he was used to. But once we got him out with it he was fine and got used it quickly.Adjusting – I know some of the reviews say this can be difficult, it can be adjusted when on if your dog will stay still, if not then it might be a little bit more difficult but like the other reviewers say, when you have it to the right size that’s it done. We were able to do the adjustments while he wore it.Size – bought medium for large King Charles, on largest setting fits nicely, if he grows, we will have to upsize but for now fits comfortably. This harness fits over the neck and fastens at each side on the chest.Clip fastens at the side are plastic but seem sturdy. All other rings and buckles are metal. There is a nice little hand hold feature on the top of the harness, not sure how useful this is for a small or medium dog but maybe good if you were sitting down. On the medium size it is good for 3 fingers, not a hand but presumably on larger sizes this becomes bigger as the harness size gets bigger. To summarise, we are very pleased with this purchase, it’s a well-made and sturdy piece, colour is great, reflective features work well and this is well worth the money. Buying the matching lead now!I will update on the durability shortly, we take our dog on long daily walks and he is eager to get going until the last so this harness will be put through its paces very very quickly!
