I did not use this project for baby proofing. I had done some furniture repair and had certain areas that easily scuffed on our table and chairs. I put the liner over it to reduce wear and tear in those areas so I wouldn’t have to repair it as often. It does the job and works perfectly.Note: the only thing I recommend is when you put it on make sure it’s lined up well and use a washcloth and rub over top to warm up the adhesive to make it stick better. If you have to remove and keep applying it, the likelihood is the adhesive will wear quickly.

Moved into a house while remodeling and refrigerator has a bigger door than previous owner. When you open door it hits the counter and temporarily put a cut pool noodle to avoid dents and damage. Found this item and replaced noodle which worked but did not look great so I was looking for a replacement. Replaced with this clear tape on counter and part of refrigerator it had contact with. Looks and functions better than expected. It was easy to put on and have extra if I need for something else.

not a bad product but could stand to be a bit more pliable. the adhesive also isn't the greatest but it gets the job done.

The tape is sold as a edge protector so little heads don't hit sharp corners. Rather than using it to protect little heads, I used it to protect the painted edge of lower cabinet (where the waste can might scuff the paint. Works well.

A carpenter friend of ours put the protector on our fireplace hearth, which has sharp edges that are unsafe for our little great-grandchildren. I think he was a little skeptical at first, but as soon as he started putting it on, he commented on how impressed he was and suggested I write a review. It looks great and so much better than what we had covering the edges before. He found it easy to apply and highly recommends it. It's a great product and an inexpensive solution to our problem.

I wouldn’t buy this again. The adhesive didn’t even stick to my wood tv stand. Anything I was able to get on fell or got pulled right off.

It is not wide enough to have a good glue hold and as tou can see it pulls up.... probably because it pulled towards the way it was rolled up. So more than likely you have to spend more time holding it in place, because once it unsticks and curls up it won't stay down anymore.
