Great product
I have had the deck for just a short time, it was definitely a little bit of a learning process on my end. All in all I really am enjoying it, the quality is top shelf, so far it has been working flawlessly

Great Handheld experience, perfectly placed buttons
Very cool system, user friendly and battery lasts for a reasonable amount of time. Easy connecting with friends. Nice to be able to get back into handhelds.

Steam deck oled.
I give this review a 5 out of 5. This steam deck is amazing. Playing games that are graphic demanding. It handles whatever I throw at it. Yeah not 4k. But strong 720p to 1080p. If you’re a fan of handheld this is for you. I’ve owned the switch handheld. That does not compare to this oled steam deck. Playing resident evil 4 remake looks beautiful. Red dead redemption 2 also amazing. It’s really a pick up n play handheld. Great investment. Truly a happy customer here.

Works great, like a gaming laptop in your hands
Was worried about getting a counterfeit but it’s the real deal. No lag. Play anything in your steam library. It comes with an American charger

LOVE IT!
Beautiful machine! Everything I thought It would be and so much more. I will not buy a console now. I was a big PS fan, but with a Steam deck., I have the best of three worlds; PC, PS and XBox!

Does not work it force you sign in Wi-Fi on setup
I heard many great things about steam deck from people on line and YouTube I finally decide made my decision but steam deck which is oled version of steam deck does not force you sign in Wi-Fi from set up I will have be happy to keep it no on step three it requires you sign Wi-Fi I try rebooting Wi-Fi router I try in steam forget input password I try everything I found out on YouTube and internet steam deck oled have it’s program error with Wi-Fi if you lucky got passed set up you maybe able to fix this problem but me who can not is in able get passed Wi-Fi all I have big expensive paper weight.I would have been more happy to keep this if I was not forced to sign Wi-Fi on Setup at least I can use it know how it works no everything now forces you sign into Wi-Fi what if you have bad Wi-Fi in apartment your screwed keep sign into Wi-Fi out of setup and from people using it things I am very disappointed with this version I was very extremely excited finally get and decide on handheld not it sucks people who own first steam deck can play I can not stupid technical failure with Wi-Fi.,Want steam deck buy from valve store company web site hate to say I bought one form there no problems since then

First purchase in 10 years with zero buyers remorse
Absolutely love the Steam Deck. Valve has made it incredibly easy to use out of the box. Within a few mins of logging into my Steam account I was playing games. I predominately bought the deck to play some of the titles from my massive Steam backlog. I haven't found the Switch to be a satisfying enough experience to repurchase some of the titles in my backlog on Steam, so I bit the bullet and bought a Deck. It did not disappoint. It easily blows the Switch out of the water. The screen is much larger, the device itself is more powerful. If you've been a PC gamer, you already have a ton of games you can play on it. Steam already has it set up to tell you which games in your library, and the Steam store, work perfectly with the Deck without any configuration. They also let you know which ones work but either require some configuration, or have other minor quirks that don't provide a perfect experience, and which ones they don't currently recommend at all. I will tell you there is a fantastic 3rd party site called ProtonDB that is crowd sourced and gives you a bit more details on the ones that Steam doesn't recommend. I've found a number of titles Steam has listed as not recommended work just fine as is, or with some minor tweaks to settings or controller layout. If you are a little more tech savvy, you aren't just limited to your Steam library. The Deck includes a number of applications in its desktop mode that allows you to link your GoG.com, Epic, and Amazon games library without much effort. They can all be played from desktop mode on the device, or with a little more effort they can be added to the default "games mode" albeit without artwork that a Steam title would show, etc. The device is also made to be user upgradable, meaning if you are comfortable opening the device you can swap out the Hard Drive for one with more storage, replace the control sticks, etc. If you aren't that comfortable, you can always expand storage by way of microSD cards.I can't recommend this device enough. My only complaint is the price on Amazon. If you can, I highly recommend purchasing directly through Valve/Steam. I ordered through Amazon mainly because I wanted the device to arrive in time for a business trip I was taking, and wound up paying nearly $200 over the direct from Valve price for that privilege.

Little crack from shipping and handling
My very first steam deck and I am a little disappointed with it arriving today with a small crack on the bottom screen, at first I thought it was a thin protective film that most electronics with a screen have when you first buy but no. It’s a crack. Luckily it’s not interfering with any visuals of the screen or interfering with the touchscreen capabilities, so I’m probably not going to return it. I’ll give it a couple of days before I make a decision on returning it for a new one. Otherwise it seems like a really good gaming device so far. I’ll write another review here in a couple weeks to see how it handles some of my favorite games and see if it can handle hours of gaming. I’m giving this a 4 star because of the little crack.
