The handles allow you to hold patient steady, turn them, ease them into a chair, secure them in a wheel chair. Secure fastener easily snapped into place. The handles also have handles all the way around giving more options as well as allowing several people to assist.

Purchased for a caregiver friend who says it’s amazing! So many places to grab someone who is much larger than her size. The care-receiver says it’s more useful than the one sent home by the hospital and says it’s comfortable and secure-feeling!

Great product for our needs….physical therapist suggested it for my husband after his stroke and getting him up, a lot easier on my back. Use it all the time, works great, I can see using it for a long time.

The handles are convenient but the “one size” belt is too large for the average adult, and it’s difficult to adjust and secure in the adjusted position. It would be beneficial to have this available in sizes.

My husband has Parkinson’s this belt is essential for safety upon standing, & pivoting to his wheelchair.

My mom contracted Lyme disease last summer and, even after she began treatment, she was still very weak and needed a lot of assistance. I tested it with my mom today, and we were surprised at how much easier it was on both of us. It distributes the lifting force over a broader area, decreasing the likelihood of injury. She was able to slide it around her back and under her arms, and it made lifting her infinitely easier. You have to be careful not to let it bunch up, as that can be uncomfortable for the liftee, but it really is a game changer. I especially like the dual handle design, which allows you better leverage at different angles.It’s rated up to 330 lbs, which should be adequate for most people. My mom weighs about 230, and we didn’t experience any issues at all when lifting her.At $23.99 I think is priced very well for the quality and performance. You can find cheaper options on Amazon, but you have to pay attention to size because many of those are substantially shorter than this one. It never hurts to do a little comparison shopping, but I’m very pleased with this strap and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.Our rating: 4.5 stars
